“The only thing that weirded me out was that the lighter sockets were dead, so I couldn't charge my phone, and it died during the moving process. There was no lock at the back, but other than that, the process was quick and awesome! The professionals were patient ( I had to get my card corrected by the company, and it took 20 to 25 minutes, and they were wholly understanding. They were kind and courteous.”

It was a cold, rainy night right before Christmas. The kind of night where everyone is tired, soaked, mentally checked out, and counting the minutes until they can lock up and go home. I showed up late—not just “cutting it close,” but clearly after the day should’ve been done—realizing I still needed my trailer.
Most places would’ve turned off the lights, shrugged, and told me to come back tomorrow. And frankly, I wouldn’t have blamed them.
Instead, Ruslan and Mak unlocked the door, welcomed me in like it was the middle of the afternoon, turned the computer systems back on, and calmly got back to work as if I wasn’t an inconvenience at all. No attitude. No sighs. No passive-aggressive reminders about closing time. Just professionalism, kindness, and a genuine desire to help.
They stayed late—well past when they had every right to be gone—to make sure the trailer was properly hooked up to my truck, checked, secured, and ready to go. They took their time, did everything carefully, answered questions, and treated the whole thing like it mattered. And it did—because when you’re towing, safety and attention to detail are everything.
What really stood out wasn’t just that they helped—it was how they helped. Calm. Respectful. Human. The kind of service that reminds you there are still people out there who take pride in doing things the right way, even when nobody would fault them for doing the bare minimum.
I genuinely wish I could do more for these two than a couple packs of Parliaments and a positive review, because they earned far more than that. Ruslan and Mak are the kind of employees every company wishes they had, and the kind of people you hope you run into when a day is already long and the weather is miserable.
If management ever wonders who represents the brand at its absolute best—this is it. Give these guys recognition. They didn’t just help me get a trailer; they restored a bit of faith in customer service.

“My experience with the Burien WA U-Haul location was top notch. I used this location twice and the manager was really friendly and helpful. I ended up renting a storage unit from him even though I had already paid for a Public Storage unit a block away. I felt much more confident and secure with leaving my property in the unit on their property. All the staff I interacted with were very friendly and helpful.
