“Important for buyers: these are the highest quality upper mid-low high- quality shoes available.

I recommend the water resistant shoe spray but be aware and pay close attention to the thread count in the shoes you are purchasing if water resistance plays a factor.

For instance it is water resistant for one pair I have in every part of the shoe but the toes from the spray offered in store.

But that isn’t the stores fault or the shoe designers fault and I am 10/10 satisfied with the quality of my shoes and recommend this Burlington. Washington Famous Footwear over every other normal shoe store in Skagit and Island County.

This part of Washington from Oak Harbor to just before Everett and not including Bellingham because it’s just twice the distance from oak harbor or Everett to travel.

If you want work boots OR hiking shoes then go to a work boots or hiking shoes store,

“Wow, what a great place! I needed running shoes for my middle schooler who just joined the Track team. Lana watched him walk back and forth, and then brought out 4 pairs of shoes. Then 7 times, my son put on a pair (or combination of pairs) and we went outside and Lana watched him jog up and down the block, and each time got a little clearer on which pair were the best. I'll be going back for sure next time anyone in the family needs shoes.”

“I had only been in the area out of happenstance when my boots' heels became shot and left me with a bad back. I had noticed this business years ago and was curious about it, but since I am in Mount Vernon so infrequently I had never had any work done here until now. I didn't even realize the boots' heels were that bad until he pointed out the issue. They were repaired that day for a reasonable price. However, my boots are blue and were partially polished black. Guess he didn't notice the fact that they are blue or he didn't have that color, not sure; either way they will quickly become scuffed and I can polish them blue again. For now they can have a sort of cool look. Overall happy with the work. It's upsetting that it will cost so much though to have the soles or even a welt redone, regardless of where I take them; because by that point one might as well just buy new boots for the same or similar money which sort of defeats the purpose of cobblers like this remaining in business.”
