“Phill deserves far more than five stars. I brought my Jeep to him after dealing with issues that other, much larger auto repair shops had failed to properly diagnose or resolve. Instead of just replacing parts and hoping something worked, actually took the time to figure out what was going on and get to the root of the problems. He was incredibly thorough, honest, fair with his pricing, and always quick to get back to me. He kept me updated, explained what he was finding, and handled multiple issues with my Jeep that other shops had missed or failed to fix. After everything was completed, my Jeep was finally running the way it should with no warning lights on the dash. Finding a mechanic you can actually trust is ridiculously difficult, which makes finding someone like him even more valuable. I will absolutely be returning to him for anything involving my Jeep or any other vehicle I own in the future. I’ll also be telling anyone I know who is having car problems to check him out. If you want someone who is honest, responsive, extremely fair, and actually knows how to diagnose and fix the problem instead of throwing parts at it, Phill is the person to go to. Easily five stars. “Ford AOD transmission. 1969 Mustang. I lost overdrive and reverse. I needed a rebuilt. After a lot of research, I ended up going to Twin City Transmission in Washougal. Brian is a one man shop, but he knows what he is doing and did it at a reasonable price. No. I take that back. He did it at a great price! I tried to get a ball park number estimate from a bunch of shops including Metro Transmission. (who I have used in the past and also did a good job). All of them quoted $2000 -$3000 if I carried it in. Brian at Twin City Transmission was the only one who refused to give me a ball park number. He said he could not until he took my transmission apart and looked inside. Somehow, after talking to him about my transmission, I decided to go with him, even through he would not give me a price. In the end it cost less than all the other shops estimates!”

The technician we had was Jon, got in diagnosed the problem and saved us money by seeing if some of the parts are salvageable, which they were. Car was towed there late Monday afternoon around 4 and got a call today (Wednesday) morning and it was ready. Also love they support our military. Cant say enough good things them-turn around, price and honesty-what more can you ask for.”
