“Probably the easiest, least stressful experience I have ever experienced buying a used car. Their website had lots of information about each vehicle they had, so we had a decent idea of what we wanted to look at before getting to the lot.

We parked and spotted the cars we wanted to look at right away. We walked over and were able to look over the outside of each to the cars and discuss together about which car we wanted to look at further. There was a lot of different options to look at, their lot was full. The website inventory was easy to filter through so I could quickly see the specs of the cars I was looking at in person, plus the prices were clearing marked online for each car so I could compare the values easily. The sales guys got the keys right away for the one I wanted to test drive and was very friendly. They were honest and upfront about vehicle history. It was such a nice experience working with them. There was no shady sales pitch or stress. They were able to get us a signed deal in under 3 hours! When the husband said he wanted to go look at cars today I was expecting to be out all day and get nothing else done. But instead we got to get some errands done while our new to us car got detailed and got to take a family drive in the car before dinner time.

“My experience was in Boise. I was almost an hour early but they jumped right on it. Checked my vehicle out, confirmed the offer I got on the app, and initiated the wire transfer. It was easy and fair. My only complaint is I had to drive 8 hours for a drop off location. Wish there were more options in the Inter Mountain west.”

“About a month ago I purchased a Ford truck from Triple C. My experience at that time was great as far as purchasing the vehicle goes. However, 1-2 days after driving the vehicle home, the motor went bad. It was driving great the day I brought it home, and the next day it jumped timing or something, and needed a complete engine rebuild or a new engine put in. I brought the truck to the shop Triple C uses and they worked with me while trying to diagnose the issue. Once it was determined that the motor was bad, I got a huge pit in my stomach wondering how Triple C was going to respond to this situation. I understand the risks of buying a used vehicle, but typically you want your purchase to go longer than 1 day.

When I called Triple C to give them the news, their response was, "don't worry Mr. Dodge, we are going to figure this out and make it right with you". I knew Chuck ( the owner), was a stand up, God fearing, country loving, conservative with a good heart, but sometimes people let money get in the way of making the right decision. In this instance, Chuck stood by his morals and beliefs and put me, the customer, first. I originally had my concerns about Jonny the finance manager, because of his stereotypical used car salesman type look and smell, but just like Chuck, Jonny stepped in too and helped me find a different truck. Not only was this a better truck, but they worked with the financing institution I was using to wipe away my old loan from the previous Ford purchase and get me into this better rig for just about the same payments and terms from the original loan.

From the get go, Jonny made the entire care buying experience enjoyable and memorable. He caused me to do some soul searching and question whether or not we should actually be leaving a tip for our used car salesman. I am now of the belief that we should be. Jonny shook my hand, looked me in the eye and said, "My word is my bond Mr. Dodge. Here at Triple C, we will always do the right thing".

In all seriousness though, I have purchased 6 vehicles from this local Washougal company. Whenever I need a used car, I will always stop here first. Don't let Jonny's appearance scare you away. Deep down, he's a big lovable teddy bear who just needs and wants a hug from everyone. Thanks Jonny for the hug and for making my situation easy to handle.

“I was looking for a 1/2 ton 4x4 Ford for a reasonable price way back in 2016. OK, it's been a while ago. I couldn't find anything near where I live in Southern Oregon so I started looking on CraigsList for something out of the area. One popped up at this place in Portland so I called the guy and asked about it. The dealer and the truck sounded like what I was looking for but didn't know if it was worth a 4 hour drive or a plane flight. I decided to chance it and flew up and got a rental at PDX. When I got to his lot I inspected the truck. It was a former Pacific Power and Light truck that he bought at an auction. It had lots of miles (180k) but seemed well taken care of and when I got under it and inspected everything it appeared to have a brand spanking new automatic transmission. The dealer guy said he didn't know much about the truck (auction buy). It drove fine and was pretty straight. I've had it for over 7 years and it still runs good, a 4.6L V8, luckily. I don't put a lot of miles on it but I'm happy with it. Daryl gave me a ride back to the airport so I could drop off my rental car and we did the deal in cash. You take a chance with any used car, the used car dealer is about as clueless as you are about the condition of the car. It's a gamble. Since I got it I've replaced the battery and alternator and the tires and shocks. It runs great. Normal stuff. I won this time and Daryl treated me fine. I would buy from the guy again. Seems like a straight up guy. I don't care either way about his Christian beliefs but I think he wants to do people a fair deal and keep right with the Big Guy.”

“Would absolutely recommend! Bought a (barely) used Hyundai for a great price, and the experience was SO much better than a dealership. Terry was fantastic. I never felt rushed, and he made sure I understood what was going on and all my options. Sean was also hugely helpful. When I noticed a small bulge in one of the tires, they got it fixed for free the very next day. If you're looking for a great alternative to the dealership experience, I can't recommend Hertz enough.”

“Use caution if shopping here. I replied to an ad on Facebook about a 1991 Chevy school bus. Jeff seemed nice enough, was told it runs and drives. Went out to take a look at it, he had it running when I got there and everything seemed alright but I had read the other reviews so I checked everything. Agreed on the price and the second I did Jeff was REALLY eager to get me out the door with a AS IS disclosure. I decided to go back out and take one more look while he got papers together. When I went back out to start it, the battery was totally dead. He then grabbed a jump box and proceeded to tell me it might need batteries and he only had it running 20 minutes. At about this point I said nevermind and left

If you are gonna sell a vehicle you might wanna at least put a good battery in it. If you are trying to hide that, it makes me wonder what else you are trying to hide and I'll walk.

Updated to 4 stars. He ended up fixing the battery issues and messaged me, I decided to give him another chance and ended up buying the bus. Ended up working out! Points for saying sorry and fixing the problem!”
