“Such a quaint boutique hotel right in the heart of town across from the bookstore. This hotel used to be a boarding house for railroad workers- and you can still hear the trains. I loved that throw back feeling of railways. My views from Rm 10 of the river.
Bistro delicious and pear cider on tap sooo good.”

“Heavenly. 5 stars is not enough. The geothermal tub, the outdoor shower, the steam shower, everything was just right. The only thing I would add is a railing or support bar somewhere for getting in/out of the tub since I have some mobility issues. My partner and I were so sad to leave.”

“Great hotel, staff, and beautiful views. But, if you’re a lite sleeper the two train tracks less than 100 feet from the balcony with trains passing by all night long every hour will constantly wake you up, even with ear plugs. It was so exhausted from the 2 nights we stayed here I can’t recommend for anyone that’s a lite sleeper. The breaking in of cars by vandals is also a problem and we saw a car window broken out the second day we were there. Otherwise, other than the trains and potential vandalism to your car this truly is a nice hotel.”
“You can’t beat the views. And it’s so easy to hop over here from Portland. Got a mid-week deal and we had a wonderful time. Enjoyed dinner on the deck, swam and soaked, hiked trails. Looking forward to returning.”

“The town is beautifully tucked into the gorge and the staff here was nice and accommodating! We stayed an extra night and had car difficulties getting back for check out and they took care of it. The price is exactly what you get, which is a completely reasonable price point. Parking lot was clean, room was clean, communal grill out front if you buy some fresh salmon at the bridge ?? stay here, support locals, get out on a trail.”

“Room was lovely. Best service in town. You are right in the mix for fun and good eats. No breakfast as the area is too small for social distancing but you can walk your lazy bum down the road on a beautiful morning with a beautiful view and grab a bite to eat.”
