“I just had one of the best trips ever, celebrating a romantic weekend for our anniversary. The “extras” upon arrival were special and delicious. Tracy arranged in-cabin massages that were excellent and the jet tub added to the relaxation. The bed was extremely comfortable and the cabin was outfitted with all of the amenities a person could want. Tracy’s energy and enthusiasm for her work is unmatched and I plan to return. She and her team make the property a truly special place.”

My room tastefully decorated and had all of the best modern conveniences including good Wi-Fi, a pod coffee maker, a/c, auxiliary heater, keyless entry. The breakfast bistro serves great food. It was recommended by a the owner of Ocean Flight surf skis and kayaks. I was there to buy a boat.”

My friend and I truly appreciate natural mineral water and often visit hot springs across Oregon and Washington, but Tenzen is absolutely one of a kind. Nothing else offers the same atmosphere, serenity, privacy, and thoughtful attention to detail.

Each cottage has everything you could possibly need — from toothbrushes and robes to high-quality cotton bedding. The mattresses and pillows deserve special praise; such comfort is rare even in luxury resorts. The steam room is fantastic, and the true highlight is the private wooden mineral baths in every cottage — a true healing ritual for both body and mind.

We first visited in the fall of 2025 during Thanksgiving and were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary gift set with wine and treats. We returned again just a month later, before New Year’s, and once again fell in love with this place. We are already planning our next trip — nothing compares to Tenzen.

There is very little I could even suggest for improvement — the quality is already exceptional. The only thing that would make Tenzen even more irresistible would be a small complimentary discount for returning guests. If such an option existed, my friend and I would gladly visit every month.

“There was construction going on. But the rooms were clean! The parking lot was alittle small so if you come late you will need to park on the street. But overall, nice hotel where the location is great.”

“The town is beautifully tucked into the gorge and the staff here was nice and accommodating! We stayed an extra night and had car difficulties getting back for check out and they took care of it. The price is exactly what you get, which is a completely reasonable price point. Parking lot was clean, room was clean, communal grill out front if you buy some fresh salmon at the bridge ?? stay here, support locals, get out on a trail.”
