“Mackin Auto is the only place we will take our vehicles if the need arises again. A deer managed to cause quite a bit of damage to the front end and driver’s front panel on our RDX. We called Mackin and immediately liked the knowledge and professionalism of Angela. We had our vehicle towed there and met with Angela, who knew a lot about what was necessary. We felt very comfortable leaving our vehicle there. The communication is second to none. We received updates weekly about the progress of our vehicle from technician’s evaluation to parts ordered/arriving. The next thing we knew, a message said our vehicle was done! Much sooner than we expected and looking brand new. We cannot say enough about Mackin in Longview. They make you feel like family, and treat you with the utmost respect and kindness. We cannot express how much we appreciated their service from beginning to end. Once they received our vehicle, they handled all the necessary insurance communication with our insurer. Angela is our go to girl! Thank you Mackin family. You earn the highest praise for customer service, communication, and impeccable repairs.”

“I learned about this shop from my local paint and body guy. We needed a color match for the basement doors on our motorhome. We took them a sample and they were extremely helpful and polite. We left with 10 spray cans of a matched color. The color was PERFECT! The quality of the paint was AWESOME and they answered all our (stupid) questions and gave us additional tips for application. I will definitely use these guys again. I thought they were wonderful and the service was excellent and timely. I would recommend them to anyone.”

“Was down in Kelso for an appointment when check engine light and "check charge system" began flashing. Staff member came out and checked the alternator and was helpful in directing me to a shop that could assist me in a timely fashion.”
“FYI: One of the owners passed away in April, he was my dad and he ran an exceptional business with his brother. My dad had a true talent in auto body and won numerous awards, and no one will ever live up to those expectations. It has been so devastating he passed away and it is up to my Uncle Don to keep this business afloat, while grieving the loss of his brother. Please be considerate and know all the guys working here are doing their best to accommodate your auto body needs, but it might take some extra time.”

“This is pretty much the cheapest place for just about any part you're looking for. They're all made in china anyway. So why pay $100 more at another store? Plus, they usually have good warranties. Staff is nice and the store is clean. They answer the phone every time and don't seem to mind looking up stock/prices even though I'm sure deep down they've got to find it annoying. They don't even let on a bit that they do. I appreciate them for that if nothing else.”
“I spent $1400 on a transmission from here not too long ago.The transmission had one small broken piece on it.We discussed the problem before I took possession of it.The guy that owns this place and is staff are very straight up and honest.We had a slight issue with the broken piece later on.They were more than willing to work with us to help us out to resolve the issue.It's too bad more places aren't like this.The guy that owns this place's tell has been in business a long time and tells it like it is and is very straight up.Just seem like great people to me.I will do business here in the future.”

“We have had a good experience, the only issue we have had is that the only person that you can talk to get information about the work on your vehicle is the service writer assigned to you. Every time we ask questions about the work done on our car, we are told to call back the next day and talk to the service writer that took our car in because the person giving us our key know nothing about our car and the work done to it.”

“Great local parts store. They carry a large amount of heavy truck parts in addition to the usual car and light truck supplies. The staff does a great job of making sure you are leaving with what you need to eliminate a second trip.”
