Whispering Pines RV Park is a very clean, quiet, and peaceful full-service RV park beautifully laid out amongst tall trees. It is a true gem with excellent variety, large and roomy sites where all utilities work fine. The park is located alongside the Yakima River, with nicely marked trails leading to the water and private walking trails. It is close to town, restaurants, and a Safeway, with a super easy location and beautiful scenery. Amenities are plentiful and impressively clean and well-maintained, including a playground, game area, a clean laundry room, and showers. The well-stocked store offers gift items, drinks, snacks, and propane. The staff and owners are super friendly, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond. WiFi is awesome. While the park is close to the freeway, leading to some traffic noise at night and the occasional train, reviewers note it is not that bad. The park is a go-to campground for many, who find it totally worth the cost and would definitely recommend it, gladly returning for its magical and organized atmosphere.
Cool spot to camp with lots do for the little ones. Nice place for adult to. There is a few walking trails with cool views of the river.

Located directly on the Yakima River and has a nice riverwalk. This place also has a ground fed swimming pond that is good size, which is good because the river is deep and flows fast here. The river is not good for children and swimming for most. The lots are gravel but pretty level.

Our campsite #93 was a beautiful north facing shady site on the Pond! This campground was huge and we walked the trail of the Yakima River, which was beautiful! Everyone in the office was very pleasant! Definitely recommend this campground if you are in the area!
