Wonderful campground surrounded by the Yakima river. Great WiFi that actually worked in just about any area of grounds! Great pull-through sites as well as back In sites for all size RV and campers. Pump house if needed for grey water and septic. Kids bouncy jumping pillow and also a 2-acre pond. Horseshoes pits, a walking trail, bike rentals, ice and propane available. Dog park but also an off-leash area. Store had just about anything you might need and 24 hour secure entrance. This campground has fun for all ages but was also very quiet. I had an amazing time and can't wait to be back!!

Our first stay was manageable. We appreciated the waiting list but the cancelation policy is too strict for this time of year since their were plenty of vacancies. Did not spend time outside our spot 45 due to proximity to road & common buildings, it was quiet but I imagine during the summer this spot might not be ideal.Food & drinks: Wonderful food options nearby.

Beautiful RV park. The jumping pillow for the kids is great and the little pond is wonderful. We paddled around in it for hours. Also the river walk trail was cool, we were able to walk or ride bikes along it. Everyone complains about the highway noise but it’s really not that bad and we’re from the quiet country. The only complaint is the co-ed shower near the pond. For one, why co-ed? For two, they were absolutely disgusting. Soap scum, mold, etc. However, the other bathrooms were single sex and very clean. Overall we had a great stay and will be back next summer.

I wasn't happy about a $70 price for the campsite and then the showers were the most disgusting things I have ever seen at any campsite. So I wasn't using the showers that I'm obviously paying a good price for and then the next day when I use their bathroom instead of using ours in the trailer and there was no toilet paper in one of the 2 stalls and no paper towels in the paper towel holder. I think for that price you should have those exceptional and they were far from it. However the place was very nice and maintained and had good amenities.

Beware that generators are not allowed, but this isn’t written anywhere including their website or the confirmation email sent to you. There are dry sites (including the group sites). One of our group members ran out of power, we asked to run the generator in the afternoon given that the rule wasn’t posted and were told no - eventually had to leave and drive around to recharge. There were open sites with power - but no option given to charge there. Amenities are nice - especially for kids - lake, playground, and jumping pillow. There is a bit of road noise from I-90 and a train the comes thru with whistle in middle of night (about 1-2am) - kids loved hearing a train. Happy camping!

Not the greatest camping experience. Most people are staying in large RV's so probably not overly concerned about how NOT Clean the bathrooms and showers are. When we mentioned it to the staff they countered back that they are cleaned several times a day and then checked afterwards. All we can say is the same Toilet paper was on the dirty floor and the same garbage overflowing for 2 days, despite the "closed for cleaning sign" outside the door both days. After our complaint things improved somewhat but the bathrooms need a really good scrubbing and the one cushion toilet seat needs to go (yuk)Check sun exposure on some sights because it was brutal on ours. Unfortunately there's no escaping the freeway noise. The pond was nice. Maybe a ok for a day or 2 or quick overnight stop but not 5 days.

Whispering Pines is a great family camping spot. If you like your own private beach spot pick spaces number 92 through 100. Make sure you pay attention to the length of your vehicle, though there is no extra room and you will need to disconnect and park your vehicle if you are tight. Has a cute little store with anything you might have forgotten and town is extremely close. very family oriented with a giant, bouncing pillow, playground, and a private little mini lake called Sharon‘s pond. We always enjoy going mid week when it’s a little more quiet. I will say that you’re close to the freeway so you will hear a little noise if you are sound sensitive. you are definitely park in and not close to the water.IG @thegutsycowgirlFB @TheGutsyCowGirl #googleguide#PNWgirl #traveler #thegutsycowgirl #roadtripNearby activities: The town of Cle Elum has lots of great events! Make sure you check out what is going on in town and have fun!

I will be visiting here again. Everything about this place is awesome. The campsite, the owners, their employees and the amenities. This is a great place for families and people with pets too. There are lots of RV camp sites with both pull through and back-in sites and tent sites too. The kids were never bored here either since there are multiple activities for them. There was also wireless service that comes with your site and since we are living in such a technology-based world, this is wonderful. The bathrooms were always clean too which is difficult to maintain with water and outdoor activities onsite. Then, On top of all of this, I came in with a RV that had a problem with the electric hook up. Someone had put a generator plug on my trailer and I didn't notice it. The Whispering Pines owner and his workers actually created a fix that converted the generator plug to work with the 30 Amp connection on the power supply. This made my stay so much better since I didn't have to find the solution myself. Not many businesses would do this for someone. Thanks!!Nearby activities: VERY close to downtown Cle Elum.Walkability: You can walk the whole park on well-maintained paths and roads.

Very nice RV park. A little tight where we were but we are a big rig. We will stop here again if it fits our route.

This RV Park, on the Yakima River is outstanding. I am a frequent customer, and every year they have worked to expand and improve it. It's nice to see a business reinvest in its property and business plan. Please keep the prices reasonable. Great job.

This is a beautiful, well maintained and convenient location. The staff really went out of their way to accommodate us with an early check-in (for a small fee) to keep us on schedule for weekend of wedding festivities. We have traveled over 1400 miles in 9 days and stayed in 6 different Thousand Trails RV parks along our journey - Whispering Pines by FAR out shines our first 6 stops. Our site is huge, private, peaceful and very restful.the only comment, which is really nothing, is you can sort of hear I-90 when outside, but I just told myself it was a rushing river - ya that's it! Enjoy the journey!
