“There are not a lot of laundry options in Des Moines and the other two I have looked at are sketchy at best. That said this one has always been clean and the big machines are priced better than most other places. I have noticed recently several machines have been going down and stay down for weeks. They explained that it takes several weeks to get technicians to come out. This jibes with what an out of town maintenance tech friend told me that his schedule is booked solid for weeks at a time and he only services a small town of 75k”

“I had a few martial arts patches placed on a jacket 10-09-2023 the lady who completed securing the patches advised me the jacket would be ready to pick up 10-11-2023 . Today 10-10-2023 I received phone call stating my jacket is ready to pick up today. Very friendly and professional employees who take pride in the work they do. I advise anyone who has dry cleaning work have the work done at King Cleaners. I would give 20 positive stars if that option was available.”

“Gabby is ? Awesome. She keeps it so clean and friendly. Needed to get my bedding done and K st Apartment is too expensive and doesn't get your clothes clean. Took a Tub and filled it full over flooding the tub and my walker. Took my service dog, Angel and headed down there. By the time I got there I was pouring sweat we left the laundry there for her to do and we went and got her a calzone a tank send Me an Angel with French tip when I came back I was barely breathing and she told me to go home and she'd call me when it was done we didn't get back to the day she has not only were stone-cold around they were clean Seattle off in the tub I could even do that we came and picked it up I left her another five-dollar tip and brought his great big goulash for her and her daughter she called me and safety and said she had a rough night and getting the gulash reminded her of her mother and I made her day Gabby you made made my day I really appreciate you and all you did thank you go to North Slope laundromat it's the best so Gabby”

“We stopped in after a 10 day backpacking trip and had a wonderful experience! The laundromat was spotless and the gentleman working there was so very helpful! The machines were in good working order and it only took $0.75 and 15 minutes to dry our clothes! If we find ourselves in that area again, we would definitely use this facility.”

“This is the best laundromat I’ve ever been to!! It is very clean and has large TV’s. All the machines are in working order, and have easy directions. One of the men who works there showed me how to use the machines, recommended dry times, and was very helpful. What a positive experience. Will definitely keep coming back.”

“Great place to do laundry. Staff is friendly and washer rates are competitive with other laundromats in the area. Dryers are $0.25/6 minutes, but they work really well and are spacious! A full load takes 18-24 minutes to dry on medium.I highly recommend Southwest Laundry if you need a clean and safe laundromat in the area. ?”

“Clean facility, well lit and all the machines are working, facility staff was friendly and available which can be rare in laundromats, $1 fee for change from credit/debit which is much better than the ATM fee of $3 down the street. Can be somewhat busy on weekends so be prepared to use fewer machines and have to hang out a while. Good vending machines and fun movies make the wait a lot easier. If you are a Spanish speaking customer staff is fluent and ready to help :)”

“We always use coin laundry when traveling. This one was quite clean and the machines worked great. Other people complained about the price but we did an equivalent of 3 large loads for $6. There is a coin changer on site but not a machine to purchase soap, fabric softener, or dryer sheets. If you knock on the door to the left of the office sign, the attendant will sell you 2 Tide pods for $1. My only complaint was that the restroom was out of service. All in all, a nice little laundry used by locals. The people there were friendly and courteous. We would use this laundry again if visiting the Seattle area.”

“My favorite spot! If it's busy, I'll gladly come back another time. All machines are clean and on working condition at all times. Usually there's an attendant there, but if there isn't, there's a number you can call and someone will be there within 15 min. Best time to go is Wednesday mornings!”

“Approximately one year ago, my partner and I had an incident occur at our place wherein all of our clothes, comforters, towels, etc had to be cleaned. Some of it had special instructions. We reached out, and arranged for Dash Point Laundry to handle nearly 10 bags as a drop-off - we were apprehensive as some of it was irreplaceable. Though it was very busy that day, the woman on duty (unfortunately I don’t recall her name) was incredibly professional, ensured she understood exactly what was needed, and handled it perfectly. When we returned (I believe it was the next day), EVERYTHING was cleaned, folded, and smelled incredible. The amount of work this saved us was immense, and the peace of mind immeasurable!Now yesterday, the owner (Steve) reached out personally to see how things were going and see if we were in need of their services. While this may seem small, an owner who takes extreme ownership of his business, rekindling professional contacts, is a rare thing these days. While we are no longer in the area, I wanted to commend Steve and his team for this! Thank you.”

“Clean and they actually have an attendant on duty working. They do a Wash & Fold service it seems like or they also own a party rental service not sure. So all the linen for that company was taking up most of the washers. Not sure what days they do this but they left very few open for customers. Washers are $4.50 and dryers .25 for 6 mins. Basically the same price to wash and dry. I've seen dryers for cheaper but their washing machines are the cheapest I've seen. I just come to laundromats when I need to wash 3-5 loads quickly and be done instead of washing at home. I would definitely come back to this one but only to do like 1-3 loads at a time. The dryer took about 45 mins or so to dry a smallLoad of towels on high heat. I wish it was quicker. They need to be a little higher in heat. Quarters only. No cards or Laundromat App or laundromat card to pay like I've seen at others. They have a machine to get change.”

“25¢ coin-operated machines.Change machine accepts $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills; dispenses quarters.Clean place, very friendly and helpful staff.4 stars just because of the cost!To be fair, the last time I used a laundromat was the beginning of 2019 BC (before COVID).$8.50 to wash BULKY LOAD+ $0.25 for 6 min of dry time on the north wall (to the right as you enter)• [ I overheard other dryers cost 25¢ for 4 minutes. Ask to be sure; I may have heard incorrectly. ]Last 2 minutes are cooldown.Total for 2 bulky loads = $17 to wash, $4.25 to dry = $21.25”
