Darvill's Book Store is a quaint independent bookstore located in EastSound. Inside, a small cafe offers coffee and treats, with the best coffee on Orcas, including an 8oz oat milk latte and oat cappuccino. The shop’s vibes are cozy, and its shelves full of books are well curated. A kid section has a sitting area with views of the bay and a window with a handy pair of binoculars on the counter. The shop’s couch area offers views through the window. The rotating supply of goodies keeps the selection fresh, and the owner’s warm hugs and wonderful smells make the store feel like a quirky loving Aunt’s living room, kitchen, and library full of artists and authors.
Great selection of books — classic, sci-fi, etc. They have an entire section on local/PNW books, including regional guide books and maps. And some cool souvenirs too!

Cute local bookstore with a nice selection of different books, art, and gifts. Appreciated how well they managed to fit so much meaningfully into a small space. There's even a little coffee shop in the back. The cashiers were also very kind and they offered a wheres Waldo hunt in the downtown area for kids!
