Griffin Bay Bookstore is a fantastic, quaint indie bookstore in Friday Harbor, located just blocks from the ferry dock. It is a charming, well-curated shop with a wide and well-stocked selection of books for readers of all ages and every preference, including a wonderful children’s section. It is bright, busy, and easy to find, a must-stop for any book lover. The store also sells cards, unique vinyl stickers, beautiful puzzles, games, and other fun gift items. There is a cafe upstairs in the back that serves a limited menu of tea, coffee drinks, and pastries, featuring a puzzle table for collaboration. The knowledgeable and friendly staff host local author events and will special order requested items. It is a lovely place where you can browse for hours.

Love a small local bookshop! So great they have this here and so convenient for visitors and locals. Definitely appreciated the local authors section and picked up a book I’m excited for. Be sure to grab a bookmark too!
