About Cascadia Art Museum
Cascadia Art Museum is a small, welcoming nonprofit that celebrates the visual arts and design of the Northwest from 1860 to 1970. It features representative works with detailed explanations next to each piece. The museum showcases local artists and emphasizes the region’s cultural history, often including the work of women and minority artists. Visitors can enjoy original exhibitions, public programs, and educational outreach. The museum’s space is limited to five rooms and a gift shop, but the staff are friendly and helpful. The gift shop offers a variety of unique gifts, including art-related items, jewelry, and fun accessories. Occasionally, parts of the museum may be closed for installations, so checking ahead is recommended. Overall, it provides an interesting and pleasant experience for both community members and visitors.
