“I don't know why this place has so many bad reviews, the only issues I've encountered was with one rude receptionist. I've had to go here A LOT for all my chronic health issues. The walk in clinic has pretty standard wait times depending on # of people waiting. Every single medical staff has been nothing but attentive, friendly, supportive, takes concerns seriously, and goes the extra mile. They actually read and review your file. They address concerns they notice completely unrelated to my primary concern. My PCP Anna Hancock has been the best provider I've ever had and carefully addresses both my physical and mental health. The VM app makes everything so easy when it comes to reaching out to staff, making appointments, reviewing care summaries/instructions, and paying bills. They are also partnered with the best, resourceful mental health services!”

“Wonderful medical care:, convenient, compassionate and thorough. The website sucks, so don’t even bother trying to set up an appointment before hand. The medical providers were better than my primary care!”

“I had a very positive experience here, and it's a great building as well. This was probably my first experience with a doctor where I felt like they actually cared about me and spent a long time answering my questions”

“I am absolutely delighted with the treatment that I received last week. The injection of steroid into my shoulder resolved my pain. Two days later, I was able to do all of my stretches without any discomfort whatsoever. The pain was absolutely gone. I did not notice any side effects.”

“I recently became a patient of UW. Dr. Jack Mo is the physician I was assigned to for care. Dr. Mo was so kind, knowledgeable about my medical condition. His bedside manner was warm and genuine. He jumped right in finding out things Most doctors waste time with finding out your problem but Dr Moe or a complete test of things right away I'm so grateful for Dr Mo!!”

“I had a great experience here from appointment setup to the actual appointment. My phone call was answered quickly both times I called and I was able to make an appointment within a few weeks. The woman at the front desk who checked me in was pleasant and friendly, very welcoming. The medical assistant was also super friendly and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Greaney was great, understood my needs and helped me with what I wanted. This was my first visit with her and I will keep her as my primary care physician.”

“I have been going here since 2016. My whole household goes here. In the past, If there were issues and I expressed frustration or concern, I'd get a follow up call from administrator or office. They resolve the issue. They are a small clinic and are one of the only medical chains that accept Medicaid insurance. With that being said, yes there can be longer wait times and booked out appointments sometimes. The trick to that is to call at 8am every morning to see if there's a cancellation for that day or schedule at another Neighbor Care location if you're mobile.

The doctors, ARNP's, PA's etc. care about you. They listen and follow up, especially in your MyChart.

**The doctors that I'd recommend are Dr.'s Roos, Chase and Knutson... Hands down the best at Lake City Neighbor Care. Dr. Hack is another good caring doctor if those are full.

In saying that, in the past Neighbor Care would get really great doctor's or case managers and all the sudden they are moving on to other jobs/places. So It can be really frustrating in that aspect. Having to start over and build a relationship with another case manager, PA, ARNP or Dr. is hard... If you have Medicaid there aren't a whole lot of options.
I personally think it's a good clinic with caring providers and yes I have and would recommend Lake City Neighbor Care to friends and family.”

“I've have nothing but good experiences here. I love Dr burns. there has been some changes with staffing but it seems to be working out now. sometimes change is hard to get through. doesn't change the fact that the providers are still great and care about helping you.”
