The layout of the store is difficult to understand- small veggie/fruit section but wine displayed everywhere; bacon next to the cider. The checkout employee was short tempered and rather rude. I think it may have just been a long and busy day at the store. Overall just a more inefficient and difficult experience than what it needed to be

No fault of their current staff, but this has to be one of the craziest designed aisle systems I have ever seen. Tiny unpredictable aisles that randomly turn into other aisles at different angles.

The pizza sauce is too sour and zesty. Please guys! Make it less zesty!

I didn’t know I was using self-checkout when I stepped into a regular line to support the workers, but apparently that’s what’s going on at the Edmonds location where baggers begin to bag your groceries and then completely abandon their task mid-transaction with no explanation, leaving my groceries un-bagged, scattered on the counter with my personal bags thrown about when the checker hands me my receipt. The kind checker apologized on behalf of the bagger who couldn’t care less.

**TL;DR Version:**
PCC Community Markets is a standout organic, community-owned grocery store in Seattle. It offers spacious aisles, a clean environment, and a well-arranged selection of high-quality and diverse products. Comparable to Trader Joe's in quality, PCC is if a Whole Foods was truly worth your time. With friendly staff and a commitment to local flavors, it's a quality grocery store.
**Full Version:**
PCC Community Markets stands out as Seattle’s original and the nation’s largest certified organic, community-owned food market. This grocery store beautifully marries the quality and charm of a chain like Trader Joe’s with the spaciousness and ambiance of a high-end market.
Walking into PCC, you’re immediately struck by the welcoming and open atmosphere. The high ceilings and wide aisles make for a pleasant shopping experience, eliminating the cramped feeling often associated with other grocery stores. The premises were impeccably clean, and the well-arranged displays made it easy to navigate and find what I needed.
The store’s commitment to stocking the best of the Northwest is evident in the quality and variety of products available. From fresh, organic produce to unique local flavors, PCC excels in offering items that cater to diverse tastes and preferences. Whether you’re looking for vibrant bouquets, health care products, or a rich selection of frozen foods, PCC has it all.
PCC Community Markets also shines in its dedication to supporting local farmers and producers. This not only ensures fresh and creative local flavors but also fosters a strong sense of community. As someone who values quality food and local partnerships, I found this aspect particularly impressive.
PCC Community Markets is a gem in the Seattle grocery scene. Its spacious, clean, and well-organized environment, coupled with high-quality products, makes it above many others. While it may not be perfect, it comes very close. If you’re looking for a grocery store that values good food and good people, PCC is the place to be.

Generally, I really appreciate PCC bakery products (the tiramisu cake is ridiculous good); however, please bring back the original Whidbey Pies because this is a miss, unfortunately. Great attempt at a collaboration though!

Stopped in late night because nothing else was open. Not a single vegan item in the grab and go section unless I just wanted a large container of tofu and an unknown sauce. Worst PCC I have ever been to

Don’t come here, checking out time per person is 10 minute. We waited 20 minutes because the employee apparent doesn’t know a. Lot of the food code in store. AVOID!

This place is high end with great quality. It is a little pricey. But sometimes you get what you pay for.

If you’d like to shop at a place where they treat people poorly then this is a good place, the selection is beyond bad and you are better off shopping elsewhere

Overpriced. Underwhelming. I stopped in for a hot lunch because I was told it's a good place to go. The food was picked over and low quality. The sticker shock was intense. I don't mind paying for higher quality food but this was definitely not that.

It's a good PCC. Not overly crowded and a wide variety of things I like.

I have been terrorized here 2 out of 3 times. First time I was met by very angry woman at the deli shop. She literally asked me to leave. And all I wanted was to peacefully eat what I just bought in here.
Second time I was eating at the counter what I just bought for my lanch. A janitor is asking me to leave. Again. No reaction from the management.
I get it — this store is telling me how unwelcome I am here.
Thank you for bad service. I will go to Panera Bread from now on.
I think $32 would buy me more than 15 minutes here.
