“I have been so very happy with my experience at Schack Art Center. In particular, under Anita Black’s guidance in the stained glass classes! She is a one of a kind instructor that brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. I have been wanting to learn the art of stained glass for a while, and I am thrilled with the amount of education I received at the Schack thanks to Anita. She truly cares about her students and makes a point to celebrate each student’s strengths and help them with their struggles while learning the art of glass!”

“This storefront art gallery may be small, but it offers some terrific local artisan exhibits, as well the occasional musical guest. Bill, the owner, is very welcoming & knowledgeable about the local art scene.”

“Excellent variety of tasty and beautifully-crafted drinks and treats. Hot and cold drinks. Edible glitter is popular on whipped cream. Small lunch items, fruit, wrappered food items, bottled drinks, pastries. They often update the menu and decorate as according to common holidays. Comfortable, spacious seating with wall outlets. Several old oak tables, large and small, wheelchair friendly options. 2 types of cushioned chairs, both comfortable: Box-shaped chairs great for relaxing in, and wooden chairs with tall wooden back.A great writing atmosphere. WiFi in the library and in the coffeeshop. They play popular music, but it's not too loud (depends on the person, of course), and only some songs are mildly distracting. On ocassion, there may be an upset or generally noisy patron, but security guards or library or coffee shop staff are prompt to help, encourage quieter tones, or exclude them from the premises. On most days, though, it's a nice place to get a drink and/or food and read, write, surf the web, or chat with a friend or family member. As a bonus to inspiration or research, wonderful art is displayed often for sale. The library also has books and other media and resources, as well as librarians who can assist. Need more extensive research and resource results and clues? Book a librarian and come back later for what they've gathered together for you.Inside the coffeeshop are also used books for sale via the library, toys and board games for all ages.To those who are new to Everett though, don't step away from your devices and chargers "just for a moment", or they are likely to get stolen. However, if you do lose something, the library has a lost & found conveniently nearby that's worth checking. Just ask the desk people and they are more than happy to check to see if your belongings have been turned in.Tabby's Coffee is an excellent coffeeshop for its exciting menu options, food/drink quality, space, friendliness, convenience of being in a library, and atmosphere.Dietary restrictions: Non-dairy options available”

“If you have art I recommend having it framed at Annabel's. The custom framing is beautiful. I am always so happy with the turnout. Terri and Doug are great to work with.”

“I have been a fan of Terry's art work for years and am fortunately enough to own some pieces, too. Recently, I commissioned Terry to create a sketch of my Dungeons & Dragons character which turned out beautifully. Thank you Terry for your energy, patience, and talent as we went back-and-forth on conceptualizing my character.”
