“I don't even think the photos or the website does this place justice, it's really impressive and worth the trip. Saw all kinds of woodpeckers including Pileated and Downey and just in general enjoyed the boardwalk. Will be going back!”
“The Salvation Army has helped me in sooo many ways through the years. The people here make you feel welcome, no matter who you are. Their food bank is a huge help this time of my life and I greatly appreciate it. Unlike some food banks, you can come twice a month. Which is really nice.”
“My son Ashton has been attending All Aboard for a year now. He loves it there. He has made numerous friends, and he feels like he is a part of something he cares about, and having something for him to be a part of has changed his whole outlook on life. He is definitely a happier adult with disabilities.
They have BINGO, karaoke, art, and crafts and social interactions that become very important as well as once a monthly dances held at Forrest Park.
I feel he is 100% safe as they have plenty of great supervision.
I enjoy volunteering here as well. It's truly a gift to myself every time I am surrounded by these wonderful souls.
Every one of them are precious!”
“This store is amazing! They have the best deals and the employees there are so wonderful and helpful!! Will shop here for everything and send everyone I know here!”
“I volunteered at the shelter for nearly a decade cleaning cages and/or fostering until I moved away in Sept '23, and I can attest personally to the care, love, and attention given to these magical creatures. Ferrets are often overlooked in animal rescue, and this organization does so much for the pnw community. They are a no-kill shelter and have never, will never turn down a ferret in need. Hands-down my fav non-profit to support.”
“This is a great thrift store! I love checking this place out at least once a week. They always have new items coming in. In general things are priced pretty fairly and I never leave empty-handed. Great jewelry selection. Everyone is so nice! Tons of parking. Very clean and organized. They research the prices of items but still try to give you a deal. Also, everything is supporting a great cause, I love shopping here because it’s local and I like to support their mission.”
“Thank you to all the women that work here! Everybody is so kind and caring. They go out of their way above and beyond to help you get any resources you may seeking. Fed my son and I when we were hungry, sent us to go plates and snacks and donated clothes to us. Because of them my son and I are no longer homeless and are moving into our new home next week! These women changed my entire life in less than a week.”
“Great place to donate Women's professional clothing for an excellent cause. The staff are friendly and helpful. Make a difference in someone's life and donate!”
“My very 1st blood donation, the staff was amazing. I felt so comfortable, respected, and appreciated. I've already scheduled my next donation. It's great seeing people who are doing so much for the community being such awesome people!”
“Love this non profit. They have a great restaurant and resale furniture store on sight. Both are used in their training program, teaching people marketable job skills, including 4 weeks of soft skills training. Great staff who help students find jobs once they finish the program.”
“Prices seemed pretty fair, but I must comment on the overall general cleanliness and organization. I’ve never seen a Goodwill so clean and so organized. Everyone I talked to was so helpful and kind- definitely recommend!”
“Updated May '23: Still the best (and realistically, the only) place to go. Have always been thankful they are here. Just coming back into the "fold".Always 5+ stars!!!For those with HIV, the place to go. Carrie is the best Case Manager, but I AM biased.”
“I consistently have positive experiences with the staff at Goodwill Outlet. They’re always so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I remember one time when all the carts were taken and I was carrying a lot of items—an employee went to the back to get me a cart, which I thought was really sweet and went out of her way to help me.
Another time, I forgot my wallet at home, and they were kind enough to hold my items while I went back to get it. They also always greet me when I come in, which makes the experience even better!
The workers truly go above and beyond, and I really think they should be recognized for their kindness and care. It doesn’t go unnoticed <3”
“Once upon a time, I stayed here as a child. They've really grown and offer so much to our troubled youth. Housing, counseling, education, job readiness, driver license, you name it. Thank you for being an asset to the communities around you and the youth who desperately need you.”
“I have been shopping at Everett Goodwill for years, and I enjoy searching for items needed and fun treasures.Unfortunately, as we all have experience and expressed prices have gone up. But then we take a look at the difficulty in donations and theft.May our community support Goodwill job training.”
“I’ve tried all the YMCA locations in the area and the mill creek YMCA is truly unmatched. The woman in the kids zone for younger kids always remembers mine and my daughters names and treats my daughter so well. I’d name her but I’m really bad with names 😂. Today we tried the pool and the life guards that run the pool are two very nice men who were nothing but helpful and promoted actual safety. We used to swim at the Marysville location, but (and I have the utmost respect for women’s bodies, but in a place specifically for children this was very inappropriate) the life guards had their entire butts exposed (almost to their private areas), flirted with dads, played inappropriate music, were running full speed around the pool, and some of them were even stuck up and rude to the moms. They were very clicky and it was just an uncomfortable environment overall. We stopped swimming for months because of that. Now that I know the environment is a complete 180 at Mill Creek, we’ll be swimming there more often. It’s important to be appropriate in developing children’s environments. I’m glad that Mill Creek can uphold the proper standards and make things more comfortable for parents that are just trying to make good memories with their kiddos. 🩷”
“Housing Hope is a wonderful, effective enterprise making a real difference to communities in Snohomish County. I can think of no more worthwhile target for giving during the holiday period.”
“It’s fine but please please bring earplugs when you go to a Silvertips hockey game if you have even a small concern of loud noises. The audience uses loud cowbells in certain moments and it can reach over 100db.”
