“Cash America is a great place to find guitars, musical instruments, gold jewelry, and other items priced below market value. They have sales every once in a while that make certain purchases a no-brainer. Make sure you do the math on what gold is worth per gram in 10k/14k/18k so you can see what they have it marked up over melt value. Knowing this number gives you better bargaining power. Pawn shops pay about 30% to 50% of melt value, so even at melt value they're making money - especially right now with gold so high. They probably have items in the display they bought at less than $3k/troy oz. If I see a guitar I can flip for $100 profit I buy it, and that happens all the time - the one in Bellingham is best for guitars.”

“I was not expecting to love this story so much. I really came for the coffee next door, but this was hard to miss from the second you walk in. It is immediately appealing. You can tell that the displays are well thought out with beautiful color theory and meaningful displays each item is carefully picked and you can tell. It’s not just a random store. It’s a store with purpose, intention, and art. You can find something there for everyone, but I love the most about it is that there are items that support locals, today I saw a laundry detergent that was made by a local! The owner has a good amount of staff working so there is plenty of help. Everybody was kind and not selective. This is especially important to me because wearing a scarf means that I’m visibly different from others and to be honest I was expecting to be mistreated or ignored because that’s what often happens when I go to stores, but it was the complete opposite here I enjoy the whole experience! And not to mention, I also found the most perfect polkadot skirt that I wish I could gatekeep, but that would be selfish of me! Highly recommend going here as a self-care day or just for anything that you need because I promise you, you will find something!”
