WinCo Foods is known for offering a wide variety of grocery items at very reasonable prices. Customers appreciate the great deals on fresh meats and produce, as well as bulk foods like Wasabi ahi tuna and a dozen fresh donuts for $7.99. The fried and baked chicken, along with chicken wings, is particularly praised for its quality and affordability, often considered superior to local chains like KFC or Popeyes. While the store is always busy and finding parking can be challenging, especially for disabled customers, shoppers generally feel that the savings are worth the hassle. Checkout can be frustrating due to self-bagging, and there are often long lines with limited registers open. However, employees are recognized for their hard work and friendliness, especially in the meat department. Overall, WinCo Foods is a popular choice for those seeking quality groceries at low prices, despite occasional congestion in the aisles and checkout areas.
Not handicapped friendly if you need to bring a cart to a handicapped cart to your vehicle. You can't bring it past the threshold of the front doors. Can't blame them however. People in the past have stolen the batteries from the carts...many times 😢 Makes life tougher on the truly handicapped.
