“Went in for a sandwich, and beer. I was driving my 55 Chevy pickup, while pulling into the parking spot, the employees came out and had me back in to a specific place as to show off my truck in front of Whistle stop. After entering and ordering our lunch, and beverages, the employee's were exceptionally friendly, and treated us like we had been friends forever!! The sandwiches were top shelf, along with the beverages, service, and staff!! Will definitely refer this establishment!! And I will definitely be going back when in the neighborhood.”

“I just returned from the Everett Claremont location and feel compelled to say a big "thanks" to the manager that resolved a problem for me. Two weeks ago I shopped there and bought about $50 worth of groceries. I was chatting pleasantly with the nice cashier and didn't realize that I used the wrong card to make the purchase. I noticed the mistake today when I checked my debit card account. I found my receipt and called the store and asked the manager if they could put the purchase on the correct card and charge back the funds to my debit card account. The manager kindly accommodated my request, saving me a great deal of financial misery. (I'm a senior citizen on a fixed income.)
BTW, I have shopped at this location several times a month for over 5 years and all my experiences have been positive.”

“It's the only grocery store that you can go to that doesn't eat up your entire paycheck for full grocery trip. i do my bulk shopping here. I will get my fancy cheese and meat at QFC or the Evergreen Asian market. but other than that I get everything else here. the winco in Marysville has fresh hand made sushi every Tuesday. I even get my money orders fir rent when im here at this one stop shop. always fairly crowded but not as bad as costco.”

“Always find what I am looking for, and so much more. I make mochas at home with my expresso machine, and having the variety of coffee syrup flavors makes things fun. Kids do the redbull and flavors. They have sugar free as well. The prices for these are so much cheaper than the big box stores as well. Can always find something fun, and if you have to host a big party, you bet you can find the serviceware, and such as well.”
“The workers at Los Compadres were all so friendly and helpful. The store seems really clean and is well organized. We got the best tamales here that I've had outside of Mexico (pork and chicken). They have a nice selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, spices and chiles and canned goods and Mexican candies and cookies.”

Oriental & Africa Mini Market has been a go-to for me and my family for over three years whenever we shop for homely food items and specialty groceries. “I love this Market! A year after covid hit I opened up a bakery, I sold many Piñata breakables and JR Tajin Breakables, this store had all of the treats I needed to fulfill my customers orders. As of late, I opened up a second Business where I offer confectioners service and also selling Peruvian Tamales. I know that I can rely on this Market to supply my Hojas de plátano & Corn Husks! Along with an array of treats for dessert tables!! Did I mention the location is convenient!”

“I regularly visit this market and have been for years, as I live right up the street. Recently I believe the ownership has changed.
With that being said that still have very reasonable pricing on beers with a decent selection; they have also increased vape selection and even made a one-time-exception when I received a faulty product. The new owners/employees really do live up to “the friendliest store in the universe””

Apple prices were great and the selection was plenty and good quality. Fresh veggies. Unique seafood and breads. Will come back to get hard to find European ingredients.”

“Honestly, the previous location parking was so bad. I never wanted to go, but now that they moved and Parking is 1 million times better this place is awesome. Prices are extremely good because they don’t advertise like normal grocery stores so your money goes much farther on higher quality food. We might make this a part of our regular weekly grocery shopping so glad they moved!!! Seriously Parking is so much better. I love that they have the little carts for kids to push. I remember loving those when I was young and my mom took me.”
