Verizon is the new CenturyLink of customer service which is to say possibly the worst service in the world. Their network is not all that either.

Had a terrible day with over the phone customer service. Was transferred 10 different times and had explain my story 10 different times. I was told that because my phone was purchased online I wouldn’t be able to go into a Verizon store to get the printed receipt I was looking for.
As I’m on hold with the next transfer and 3hrs on the phone…I decided just go to my closest Verizon store in Federal Way(same parking lot as the commons mall). I’m about to lose my shiiii with these 800 numbers.
As soon as I walked in Jay approached me right away. No waiting, no hesitation. He asked why I was there and he didn’t even hesitate! Asked me for my ID and got what I wanted and I was out the door in less than 5 minutes. Can you believe it!? 4 hrs of work in less than 5 minutes with Jay?
Thank you Jay for making me smile today! Keep up the excellent customer service!! You the man!!

It takes forever to do basic things like close an account and get information on what to expect. The rep couldn’t be bothered to explain anything to me or confirm the billing details were correct. He didn’t take the time to look at my account in the app, tell me turn off auto pay, or when I should see the status of my account change from open to closed. He told me to wait for a manager and walked away. Maybe better training on not treating people like a transaction would help.
The home internet service is really unreliable. Speeds of less than 100MBPS for $70 a month? Don’t bother.

I was returning a phone purchased online. I was working with the supervisor at the time and they refused to return the sales tax on the phone it was over $80.00 YOU DON’T GET TO DOUBLE DIP!..

This was my first time at this Verizon store. I ordered a new phone I was picking up. I was checked in by Quang Dang. He went and grab my phone and was ushering me out the door. I said I needed help transferring from old to new. He said it was $30 which I didn’t know. That is not the problem at all. The issue was his objective seems to be getting me out of the store as fast as possible. People clearly came to the store for some level of help. I said I will need help activating my new phone. He opened my package, turned on my phone, and told me to connect to the store’s wifi and it should be that simple and left to tend to other checkins. It was not as clear cut as he presented. I went to get his attention bc it was not working. He then resets the phone back to factory setting to start over and left again. I had enough so I went to get someone else. Unexpectedly got the manager, Hunter Barber. Hunter troubleshooted my activation issues and eventually got service on the phone. I told him helping customers activate their phones have to be the very least store employees can do. I briefly expressed my unpleasant experience with Quang and left.
I did not feel valued, welcomed, or appreciated as a long time customer whatsoever. Quang Dang is not a good representation of what Verizon prides themselves on which is customer’s experience. Please work on making improvements starting with your staff.

Horrible experience. Rude and unfriendly, not helpful or knowledgeable employees ?. I would give 0 stars if I could. I'm going to this location, I'm seriously considering switching.

I wanted a 1 month sim card. Cust service rep said he needed payment in advance, My email address and I created a pin # to put into their system. One month later sent me a bill. I called, explained the situation and thought I had made sure my account was canceled. 3 months later I am billed for 2 months and a late charge. This time I called and they claimed my email and pin # needed to cancel were not correct therefore they were unable to cancel my account and said I needed to keep paying until I "remembered " these. They now have an FCC COMPLAINT filed against them . Do business with these grifters at your own risk.

Went in to get my daughter her first phone. Sawyer, one of the staff members was very helpful and extremely patient with my wife and I. Sawyer answered all our questions and gave us some good tips concerning parental controls. Thanks Sawyer for all your help!
