“Lots of products and professional staff here. It pays to have something in mind, that is a knowledge of materials and their purposes. Based on some factors, a 4 by 4 by 8 foot Western red cedar post could be as little as $18 or upwards of $60. Thanks to the staff, I only needed four rough cut $18 ones. You can't pick through what you want, but you have a consumer right to ask for a better one if it's twisted or split.”

“My last Lowe’s Puyallup review was very poor so it’s only fair to recognize staff that went the extra mile this evening.
As I was about to check out Shaun asked me if I’d found everything even though the store was about to close. Shaun immediately went looking for a light bulb I was unable to find while I started checking out. He returned with an option which unfortunately wasn’t the voltage I needed.
The cashier was struggling to find a sku number for two bulbs I did find and Shaun was able to resolve that problem with the help of Garrett the manager.
I appreciated both Shaun and Garrett’s efforts to find product and allow me to check out with my purchases. In this case common sense prevailed which was very refreshing as I was feeling more and more frustrated.”

“I decided to make a DIY little library/pantry so of course, I needed wood. I figured I'd rather go somewhere local versus supporting a big box store. After reading other reviews, I decided to check out Brookdale. I walked in with a drawing and a cut sheet and Brad was so nice! He helped me figure out how to utilize 1 piece of plywood & minimize cuts. He mapped it out and then helped me grab all the other necessary items I needed. I pulled around back and Miguel (I hope I'm remembering his name right - If not, I am so so sorry!) Was there to help cut my plywood for me. He continuously confirmed the dimensions Brad and I drew up to ensure everything was right since he was likely cutting much smaller pieces than he's used to and then he loaded it all into my car for me. If you're like me and doing a DIY project & don'tknow where to start, I can't recommend coming here enough! They'll even do smaller rough cuts if you ask for $1/cut which I find to be super reasonable. Thanks Brookdale Lumber and team!”
