“Who knew a rabbit was an "exotic" pet? Who knows when a bunn rescue will show up in your home deserving quality pet care just like your cats and dogs? When it comes time to find healthcare for your chosen or rescued bunn, Evergreen Animal Hospital (Gig Harbor) is absolutely worth the drive to see Dr. Marks. My big, not fancy boy bunny is the funniest pet ever and I wanted to be sure he stays healthy. I had NO idea how to do this. AND he hates car rides. From my 1st phone call I knew I had found the right place that would be worth the trauma to both of us. Called from outside, straight to a room and out of his carrier. WONDERFUL soft spoken, smiling front/tech staff. Dr. Marks sat on the floor, allowed my bunn to explore as she examined him, as he explored her. Complete physical and I DO mean complete, he didn't seem to be aware...as we were talking bunny health. NO trauma/drama." WE " were mesmerized by her. Can you say bunny whisperer? I learned so much and I am confident he will have a very long happy life with Evergreen Animal Hospital/Dr. Marks as his care advisors”
“This is not our regular vet but on a Saturday morning when my senior dog gave us the signs that it was time to let her go, Harbor Animal Hospital was open and available to help her go in peace. It's never an easy thing to do and they were very kind the entire time. They have cremation options if that is the route you want to take. We opted for an ink print and home burial. Thank you again for leading our girl over the rainbow bridge.”
“Friendly, quick to respond, but were not able to help me with a current pet problem. I've gone to them many times in the past for medical care for my pet house rabbits, and will go back again in future. Dr. Ray DeCent is experienced with most regular rabbit issues.i needed a specialist for the current problem though.”

“Been going here for a few years. The first time was after the shut down but still during limits access so we were not able to actually meet the vets except by phone call. The first phone call the vet found out cats name quite hilarious and fitting. End of 2023 and beginning of 2024 we had to bring each our kitties in for heathy checkups and minor eye infection. Our youngest, pictured, was greeted by the whole welcoming committee. Two orange elderly cats and one void cat that stayed at the reception desk. Overall I highly recommend this vet clinic. They are friendly, knowledgeable, quick, and expert. Thank you for all you do!!”
“If you are looking for a Vet for your fur baby I highly recommend Spanaway Vet.We took our boy here to be nuetered last week and they were amazing. We have a very vocal high energy boy and they told me ahead of time they are " experienced with spicy dogs" lol Also, after seeing other dogs there it made us realize our boy isn't the most spicy there is.They were great with every animal. Made the process so smooth, were very upfront about costs, not pushy at all, very informative and our boys surgery went well and recovering great! The vet tech pre-surgery went over what to expect and was so sweet with him and us. So much so he jumped on her in excitement then walked right off with her and didn't look back. We knew he was in good hands as he is a good judge of character.Thank you to all of the hard working staff at Spanaway Vet for making this a good experience for both Rocket and us! ?”

“I am very happy with the compassionate knowledgeable care , love given by the staff at Commencement Bay Animal Hospital. I am very happy I have switched my dog and cat to this office . DVMSullivan has given her patients and family the time and complete support compassion n love n dedication of her job you would expect from a great DVM she will get right on the floor with my big guy hes a lab mix. My animals adore her. So do I all I have to say to my dog is were going to his vets ifc n he's in the car. My dog not only loves his DVM he also loves his techs with the tasty treats nice belly rubs. He loves the front end receptionist Michelle bunches n the others they are all very kind . His Momma n Sister Cat love all the staff also. This staff is super efficient they do what they are going to do pretty quickly and are very friendly about it. I've never encountered a rude or unkind member of this vet office. They let you know pricing on proceedures. They aren't out to price gouge you they truly do care for your animals. I'm truly glad I was referred here . My animals n I have been very happy. I would recommend Commencement Bay Animal Hospital.”

“I’m not one to leave reviews but I couldn’t not leave a review after my experience. The other night my 2 year old beagle got sick and was coughing almost every 2 minutes and hacking up a white foam. I kinda figured it was kennel cough. But it was so persistent and sounded so violent I was pretty concerned. The urgent care vet centers couldn’t get him in until almost 12 hours later and wanted 250 dollars just to see him. I waited and called around. Most vets didn’t pick up but when I called union avenue vet hospital, they picked up right away. They had an opening about 30 minutes from when I called them so I drove over and they checked my dog out. They tell you price quotes before they do anything and don’t push any unnecessary testing to jack up your bill. They were professional, kind, efficient, and affordable. They reached out to see how my dog is doing and I’m happy to say he is much better! Happy to have found an honest and good veterinary clinic. I’ll be bringing my pets here every time.”

The person at the front desk was very friendly, Dr. Johnson’s assistant was very thorough and helped Scooter not to be scared and we were so impressed with Dr, Johnson, not only was she professional but her love for dogs was very evident - she sat on the floor with Scooter making him feel at ease. “I love the service this place offers. I am a low income person and I have used this company several times. My cats needed to be fixed and they were wonderful. I am a caregiver and I have sent my clients to this organization. They accept the spay/neuter coupons from tacoma human society. The human society voucher is first come first serve and as funds are available but even with out that help they are very great price. I only had one problem with a new puppy I had adopted he is a very nervous and scared dog they could not neuter him because he needed to be on anti anxiety medication and I had to get him fixed with help from pasado.”
“Amazing experience!!! Dr. Liana Is kind and caring. I'm so happy this is where I decided to go! I had an emergency situation and they fit me right in to their busy day. My pooch is super nervous when it comes to any kind of treatments or being messed with at all and they made him super comfortable and didn't force anything. Not to mention he got tons of treats and affection! We will definitely come back! Thank you guys so much!!”

He has been very I’ll for 2 weeks and unfortunately I had a hard time finding a vet clinic that would see him. Thankfully the staff at this clinic made it possible for him to be seen right away and handled him so lovingly and genuine concern. I was very pleased with the experience.”

“I don’t leave reviews often, but when something needs to be said, it needs to be said. I can’t express enough how awesome this place is. Every single person I’ve had any interaction with has been outstanding. Dr. Long is the best vet I’ve ever taken an animal to and shows genuine care for my dog. Everyone else working there is also very genuine, caring, and makes the whole experience much easier for my little guy. I would highly recommend this place.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Uptown Animal Hospital. We have been taking our two dogs there since we picked them up in April of 2022. Even though it has only been a year and half our girls have gone through so many random medical issues. I have never encountered any vets and staff that care for our dogs as much as they do. They are people that I trust to care for my dogs, and even though the vet isn’t always fun for my two girls they get so excited to see the people. Thank you all for all that you have done! “I came here not knowing id walk out in hysterics. My cat had xrays that were suspect of showing lung cancer. I went in their will all the optimism of the world and left hyperventilating and heart broken. The initial exam was really pricey but overall, the vet was able to give me the terminal news without making me do unneeded tests. Nothing they could test her for would cure her and thats what the vet let me know plainly. I’ve read on here about the front receptionist desk being very cold, and I would say I have a much different experience. Kendra where ever you are, you deserve a raise for how kindly you treated me. I went in alone to the appointment and i could not stop hyperventilating or crying once i found out. I dont think ive ever been that upset in public and everyone treated me with compassion. Especially Kendra. She took my payment, left the room and came back in and asked to hug me. It was really nice to be comforted by a stranger when my whole world was falling apart. I never really know how to act in these situations, and they were all very supportive. I hope to never come back here but my experience was in hindsight of the horrible news, was awesome.Rest in peace to my Binxe baby 2013-2024”
