“Shout out to Taylor and the maintenance team. They responded quickly to fix my broken thermostat which led to a new heater. It’s an easy place to live, especially when the pool is open. Thank you Bracera !”

“Moving here was one of the best choices! The neighborhood is so walkable to anything and the building itself is filled with friendly folks, beautiful views and comfortable units. Management made this a very smooth transition from day 1.”

“Had a couple maintence requests that came up and Sean went above and beyond helping me out this Saturday!! He was timely, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He spent good time not only solving the issue but making sure it wouldn't come up again and replacing several parts I needed. He helped out with even more than I had called for, made sure I knew info as a new resident, and did a fantastic job!

Made me feel very grateful to be living somewhere where they really care about the work they do, thanks again!”

“Love this place, great prices and even better cars. Made my trip to Seattle so much better to ride in style! Definitely planning on booking here again on my next trip here. If you're thinking about renting a vehicle from here, DO IT ! Trust me, you won't regret it.”

“First review: Been here 3 months. Leasing office staff have been very helpful with all of our questions, and for the most part keep an open line with us via phone, email or in person.
My dogs love it! We love it ❤️
Compared to Felony Way (Federal Way) these streets is quiet lol I think it's what we love most about the place. The gates are working again, and I feel safe knowing there's cameras everywhere. No tweaker activity that I could see as mentioned in previous reviews. Rent does not include utilities = $200 plus, valet trash $25 even if you don't use it, $35 for parking which is optional but necessary for some buildings as parking nearby is limited. $1625 for a 1 bd 1 bath with washer and dryer in unit ??
I have a beautiful view from our living room window and balcony. I'm grateful for all the amenities. Close to a lot of stores and restaurants (6th ave). Our neighbors are quiet except on occasional wkends, we get to tune in on the latest drama. And the guy doing donuts in the parking lot at night(give it a rest already kid).
Also, they do inspections twice a year, which I agree with for safety reasons and to encourage upkeep of units.
Will update in a year ✌?”

“These apartments are super cute and quaint. Historic vibes fo sho. I toured with Ellie and Jessie and they were both fantastic! Super friendly and Ellie was able to answer all my questions! They even took their time showing me four other properties they have. Great experience overall and will be highly considering this place on my next move”

“I came to visit a friend at The Astor and really enjoyed my time. The view from the roof was great, there’s so many fun gathering spots! I especially loved the vault basement and the amazing gym!”

“My partner and I lived there for a little over two years. It was a quiet and peaceful place. We never have any major issues there, and all maintenance problems (there was fairly little) were done in a quick manner. I could talk for hours and hours about how great the maintenance man is there! He became a friend of ours very quickly and we still think about him weekly! The property manager is all pretty cool. We would definitely move back there if a bigger apartment opened up. Many thanks!”

“My wife and I moved here in November 2024 from another apartment complex in Tacoma. Thus far, we have had a great experience. The apartment itself is clean, well maintained, and in a great centralized area of University Place close to a distillery, restaurants, Whole Foods, a coffee shop we frequent, and my home gym (OTF), all of which are within a 2-3 minute walk from our apartment. The front desk staff are all responsive, attentive, friendly, reliable, and pick up the phone when you call (I say this in all seriousness as our former apartment complex staff would not pick up the phone when you call the front desk). The common areas are clean, the gym and spa look very nice and well kept. I park on P2 which is also public parking. I have seen and heard stories of other residents' cars being broken into. Luckily, at least at the time of writing this review, mine has not. We pay an extra monthly fee to have my wife's car parked in the secure parking (P1). I have emailed the front desk regarding 3 work orders all of which were completed within 24-48 business hours of the email. It is quiet, it feels safe, and having to FOB everywhere keeps it secure.

If I was to be picky, these would be some of the downsides:

1. Only one car per apartment is allowed to pay extra to park in the secure parking. I am unsure why since I see plenty of vacant spots there.
2. While we LOVE our high ceilings, getting the apartment warmed up is difficult and expensive utilizing the heating system.
3. You have to pay a monthly fee to have a secure locker for your packages. If not, you risk having packages delivered and occasionally/rarely stolen since it is in a common area of the lobby exposed to anyone that walks by.”
