“We were visiting from out of the area and had an amazing experience. The vibe is local but not exclusionary. The wine we had was recommended and was excellent. Even better, the hosts were the owners and they both were engaging and had great stories about how they got started and why they were in business . If we end up back in these parts, we will be back. Thanks to the couple next to us for the great bottle recommendation!”

“Stopped in while renting a house nearby for our fall vacation. Man behind the counter was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They offer a nice variety of food, beverages, snack, etc. The parking area is small, but not too bad for a quick stop. They also offer gas 24 hours a day, which can come in handy. Prices are pretty standard for a small market. I'm sure we'll be back during our week stay.”

“Yes, there's liquor and beer, but they also make really good sandwiches and subs. There's a cute little sitting area and another table to play chess that's ready to go. Very cute.”

“The best liquor store in Gig Harbor. A large selection of high end whiskies and tequilas. If they don't carry it, they'll order it for you. Friendly and helpful staff. Worth a visit.”

“After living in Gig Harbor for nearly two years, I finally stopped to checkout Hop Pharm. It should not have taken me so long because it's a cool little spot.Chris was behind the bar serving up the beer and friendly chat. As it turns out, he manages the place.I can't remember the name of the beer Chris recommended, but it's one of the best IPA's I've had. There is a selection of twelve beers on tap along with a self-serve cooler with many more options to choose from.I sat Indoors, the place was impeccably clean with seating at the bar, side bar, and a couple of tables. There is also an outdoor seating area that has been enclosed with a soft sided enclosure with a propane heater to cozy it up.There are a few bagged snacks available for purchase other than that no food is served.Chris mentioned live music was on the calendar weekly. If you haven't visited Hop Pharm yet, I would recommend that you do. See you there!”

“I love my GH Safeway! I love all the food selections and for the most part prices are good too. The store's staff are ALL great! Always sincerely cheerful, asking how they can help you, then physically helping you with getting full grocery carts to your car, etc. The friendly guys at the meat & seafod counters go out of their way to help you-same for lady in the bakery. Most staff walk you to the right place when you're looking for an item. Customer Service & mgrs. are top notch & if can't solve your issue directly try to make up for it with a little gift card. The store is clean and well organized. My only suggestions/constructive criticism: I do miss having Quest labs there! One blond lady in Pharamcy seems to always be "unhappy & impatient"? Safeway bakery breads are not as good as they used to be, i.e. sourdough not much flavor (did they change recipes?) & at times store is missing items or has empty shelves but I undertstand the supply chain issues, etc. going on right now for many. FYI I have tried the new Met Market across the street & it may be "pretty" but I'll stick with my Safeway for selections, helpful staff and prices! Thank you.”
