This store has a great selection even though it is a bit smaller. Don't forget to check out their clearance aisle. It's the 1st aisle on the far left side of the store.

Went the Sunday after Black Friday which was my bad. Store was wiped out with no staff. Went to framing and stood around (one person had an appointment). Had to find a staff member to find out the person had called off. Probably should have just thrown in the towel for the day

The cashier was so amazing and sweet. I really think that their customer service is 5 stars. The store has gone down in the quality of their items, but they cost more than the more quality things they've sold in the past. The carts, checkout, and aisles are all so small that if the store is busy at all it's uncomfortable to shop. The environment makes one feel rushed and hurried. I think that it is best to shop at the small local shops.

I am very disappointed in Gig Harbor Michael's, yesterday I tried to order something online using a 40% off online coupon which expired that day. Everything I was ordering said it was in stock, but I could not make the purchase. it was popping up that there was changes in my cart and to go back and look at my cart, when I looked at, I could not see anything that was wrong or had been changed. I called the customer care line they couldn't figure out why it was doing that as well. I finally called the store directly and was about ready to leave to go to the store to make the purchase, but wanted to know since this was an online coupon and there had seem to be a glitch in their system if they could help me with that. The lady that answered the phone said she could not do that and could not even override it. She seemed too busy to even want to deal with me. She also said to me that it must be working because she has tons of online orders to fill, which I was led to feel like she thought I didn't know what I was doing, and it was my fault that it wasn't working or lying to her. She said that if it was given me that error, they probably didn't have the items in stock, if that is the truth and why the heck does it show it was in stock. Also, she ignored me and started talking to someone else obviously customer service is not her strong point whatsoever. Obviously I hung up because she didn't care to even try to help me. Obviously, this makes me not want to shop at this store ever again.

When shopping at Michael's this morning, the Check-Out Cashier, Hillary Lewis, was Outstanding!!! Her Up-Beat Personality, Kindness and Attention to Detail made my day!!!! Hillary was Respectful, Polite, Helpful and Never Rushed Me!!! She is one of the Nicest Check-Out Cashier I've ever encountered!! Thank You Hillary for a Job Well Done!!! I'll Definitely Be Back!!!

I called and asked if they offered dry mounting and if they had the materials in stock. They said yes so I made the long drive from Port Orchard. When I got there, they said it would take a week and they would call me. A week went by and I heard nothing. So I waited a few extra days and called and they told me the job hadn't started yet because they were waiting on materials. So they didn't have what they needed even though they said they did. I agreed to wait yet another week. Was promised a call when finished. 8 days went by - no call - so I called them and they said my job was done. Drove all the way over there and after 20 minutes of messing around they came out and told me the job hadn't even started yet. So I wasted gas on the drive over twice for nothing. I got my money back and took my art somewhere else. Buyer beware. Nobody that worked there seemed to have a clue about what they were doing.

Don't go unless you plan on waiting a minimum of ten minutes in line. The cashiers are ridiculously slow.

Glad they are carrying fabric, wish they had a more consistent selection of art supplies. Staff have always been helpful.
