Visiting from Florida and of course its pouring, I needed a coat, came in and was lucky enough to work with Brian, he was fantastic, helpful patient, he listened to my needs and stuck with me while trying on multiple sizes of coat eventually finding the perfect fit, also helped me find a sweatshirt to match and got me set up with some nice socks so now I'll be warm and dry with my PNW starter kit, thank-you Brian you were fantastic!!!

Great Service walked in and met Brian at the store .Brian walked me over to the rain coat that i needed for work and did not try to sell me A 1000 Dollar coat Like bellevue REI does . The Service and Selection and Value at Issaquah REI was great It's Very hard to find great service but Brian hit it Right on ! I will be a LONG Time Shopper there .

In terms of store size, this Issaquah branch is very much smaller than the flagship multi-storey Seattle branch. I'd say the size feels similar to the Bellevue branch. This Issaquah branch is adequately stocked to keep us coming back throughout the year; especially when there are ongoing sales! While it's hard to find help at Seattle's branch due to its sheer size, this Issaquah branch has plenty of staff who are always ready to help. Parking here is also a lot easier as compared to Seattle and Bellevue branches. It's actually quite hard to rate REI branches because their warm & friendly service is quite consistent across various stores across the nation. Had to minus one star because the toilet always has a foul smell on every visit.

I like REI. Great gear and wide selection, but...some people here are entirely unhelpful and really should consider work in a non-service-related industry. One gent, saw me twice and didn't even speak, despite that I was obviously scanning the store for what I needed. A woman employee was a bit rude to my wife (and me) as we waited for a dressing room. My wife was simply looking under a dressing room door because it was supposedly occupied, yet the door was unlocked. After no one coming out of that room for about 10 minutes, my wife simply checked to be sure. The woman said, "it's occupied! My wife explained and she said "well, the door is shut!", very nastily. At the register, the guy that took care of us was as friendly and helpful as could be. SO...my request is for REI to hire more people that like people.

Kinda weird they post this huge flag on the window. Then the actual experience sucked as well. One employee wasted too much of my time, while they're was only like 35 mins before store closing, trying to sell me item... I get it, but I drove here to check out all the items quickly not just stare on one. Than was kicked out right before it was even closing time... Annoying garbage store. Will go Bellevue next time!

We purchased a bike there. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. We found some good deals there in Memorial Day. Very nice shopping experience.

Wanted to give a shoutout to the folks in the bike department, who helped me find a new bike, assembled said bike and accessories, and troubleshooted when we couldn't find a rack to fit the bike. They were very knowledgeable, professional, and humorous, which resulted in an awesome experience.

I am bike mechanically illiterate. I need way more help than most people with simple things like tire changing. The employees and rei go above and beyond to do quality work. Sarah or Sara I’m not sure how she spells was a tremendous help over the phone. The employee in store (name?) helped me solve more problems than I expected to need to have to solve. I appreciate rei this store especially because of my continuously positive and problem resolving visits.

I just picked up a bike here after a tune up. It looks mechanically fine but the lack of detail is concerning. One of the valve stem caps was missing, the seat was put back on super crooked, and for some reason they uninstalled, then reinstalled the display for the electronics to completely block the throttle. It's like they just didn't care. Might have to take it somewhere else to look at it before I think it's safe to ride.

Super great place for buying outdoor products! The store sells lots and lots of items for outdoor things and you’ll probably find what you need here! The staff is also very kind and helpful.

Amazing customer service. All employees are very nice, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I always leave feeling very happy. I drive from far to come here because it's my favorite REI. If you aren't an REI member do yourself a favor and sign up, they have a lot of deals.

I stopped by here to grab some waterproof clothing for a camping trip. They had exactly what I needed and the perfect size.The staff was very helpful, and it was a quick in and out. They had enough cashiers that the wait wasn't long. They have so much to offer. I had also checked out their shoes, but they didn't have my size in stock. It was recommended to order online, and it could be shipped directly to my address.If you are looking for quality outdoor clothing, gear, and equipment for you and the whole family they have you covered.

Emily in the bike shop was absolutely amazing. She was extraordinarily professional and compassionate regarding the various bike and trainer challenges my wife and I were experiencing. We utilized online videos and another local bike shop without success, so we turned to our trusted/loved local REI. Not knowing what would come of our visit to the bike dept, we were greeted by a gentleman who listened to our dilemma and got us the most amazing bike technician, Emily! Upon her listening to us and evaluating our equipment, she was able to diagnose the issues, as well as take the time to educate us. Truly great customer experience and a welcome outcome thanks to Emily. In our opinion, she is a true asset to the REI bike shop and an amazing person. Thanks again, Emily, and you rock!
