“Service was excellent. Food very good. Love the grits and fresh squeezed juice is a treat. Prices have gone up as have most restaurants, I think that's unavoidable. Always a great location. Glad we stayed over as it was much less crowded in the morning”

“The rooms were clean and roomy. It's an older building and we had a kitchenette that in the morning had ants in the sink but for an older building it's kind of expected. And the toilet handle needed shaken not to run all night. But the check-in clerk heard we were there to visit our son in the hospital and gave us a free upgrade to a larger room. Overall I would stay again.”

“The office staff was very friendly and helpful. All-in-all a good stay.Rooms: The room was clean, beds comfortable, but small (not queen size as told), blankets and pillows very thin. No phone book, no paper & pens. Hardly any amenities.Walkability: Walk to several restaurants and stores just a couple blocks.”

“Booked this hotel after I heard some not so good rumors about the Aladdin in Longview, (wanted to stay at a Best Western, because they have always been a wonderful experience), and I needed a hotel to stay in for the dog show at Cowlitz Fairgrounds. The staff are so wonderfully warm, and eager to help! Rooms are super clean, and even had wood floors for the room I stayed in! They have a little dog yard set up behind the hotel, which was a delightful surprise. I have to say this was one of the best experiences I have had! (which is hard to say, since Best Western has yet to disappoint except for the Aladdin, which isn't even really their fault)Noteworthy details: Private off leash dog area, which while small, is very clean, and isolated.”

“Very nice upgrade newly remodeled. Property looks great now. No nasty odors in the room. Air-conditioning all new in every room. Beds are new as well as towels and linens all new. Carpet been replaced. Only need to replace Debbie from the desk with someone who has better attitude towards customers. Otherwise looks great now. Rates are more per night, but it's due to costs of full remodeling.”
