It had the reputation and the caliber of dresses I was looking for. The owner, Ashley Child, is incredibly knowledgeable and extremely professional. She made my experience one to never forget. I have been a bridesmaid before and experienced wedding dress shopping, but she made it feel like I was in a movie. Look no further than Nyanza bridal. “I came to the Grace Loves Lace in Ballard thinking I had found “the one” at a different shop. Boy was I wrong! Also, I accidentally invited 4 guests (1 over their suggested max), so I called the shop to see if anything could be done. They were super understanding and allowed my entire group to join me at the appointment!We were welcomed with such warmth, friendliness, and champagne! Melissa, my stylist was such a sweetheart. She was extremely supportive throughout the appointment— listening to my feedback, bonding with my bride squad, and suggesting gowns. At first I was concerned that the gowns wouldn’t suit me (I’m a mid-size curvy bride), but these gowns just hug you in all of the right places! It was game over once the veil came on and the tears started flowing.Overall I had an amazing experience thanks to Melissa and the GLL team. I am excited be a Grace Bride ❤️”

“I got my dress from a wedding dress resale place, and it came with a gauzy overlay which I didn't like as is but I knew had potential. I took my dress and the overlay to Beverly and it was one of the best decisions I made in the entire planning process. She worked with me to figure out how to make the gauzy piece work as an overskirt to my dress, and the final result was more beautiful than I could have originally imagined. She is so talented and personable and did a great job both listening to what I wanted and also making suggestions to me about different things that could work. I would highly recommend her! “Blue Sky was a good experience! I bought both my dress and veil here. One thing I would go back and change. My dress had a busted zipper, which unfortunately cost a lot more than the $50 credit they gave me to replace. To replace a zipper on this particular satin dress cost about $150. I think for a $2400 dress, $50 off isn't much. BUT overall I'm happy with the experience and glad that I didn't pay full price for a dress I wore for only a few hours!”
