“This is a long overdue review, but I have to say - I am always so amazed by the quality of service here at Salmon Repair Center. I have had my car serviced here for years since 2021 and the mechanics have always had my back and answered all my questions and concerns as someone who isn't all that great with car stuff. I am lucky to live so close to this place as it's so much for accessible for me to stay at home while they work on my car. I really appreciate the people working here, like Kevin and James, who have gone above and beyond with servicing my car. Their pricing is very fair for the work that they do and I honestly don't mind paying the price of the repairs since it's high quality work. They always give a call when they're done running the initial diagnostics and give a quote for the price(s) of the repair(s) that need to be done. I noticed they have a minimum charge of $99-199 for the diagnostics which I wasn't aware it was a thing until recently, but I'd still pay any price to get my car serviced here since everyone is so amazing and their service is amazing.”

“Recently picked up a truck for a quick move a few heavy stuffs. Book in advance- that's important. My pick up time was at 9am, right when they open. The truck was ready. Easy paperwork and I was out in less than 10 mins. They charge $0.99 per mile on top of the rent. The service was just great. Very friendly staffs. They will explain the policies, process and what to be done while returning. Just one sign - that's all you need; rest is online. Quite a great experience. Recommended this place.”

I first spoke with Charlene over the phone to understand the rental process. She recommended that I stop by a day before my pickup date so they could assess whether my vehicle was suitable for towing. This was an incredibly helpful call that clarified everything upfront.

When I stopped by the location, I met David, who walked me through installing my own tow hitch, explained the required 4-to-7-pin adapter, and showed me the equipment I would be using the next day. As a first-time tower, this walkthrough gave me a ton of confidence.

The only recommendation I have is to create a self-checkout process for the pickup itself. Waiting in line during peak hours can take up quite a bit of time. If we could complete steps like scanning a driver's license, choosing insurance, and reviewing the rental agreement ahead of time online, it would speed things up significantly.

That said, the rest of the pickup was smooth, and I loved being able to handle both the pre-pickup inspection and the after-hours drop-off verification directly on my phone by uploading photos. This digital approach is a massive improvement to the overall process.

Overall, it was a great experience. Streamlining the sign-in steps at the counter would make it perfect!”

“Just want to give the two guys working today at the desk a huge shout out.
They were busy and also the app was glitching out. They helped me get a truck even though my time was somehow changed from 10a to 10p. They were both calm, cool, and completly knowledgeable. The truck was in great shape and this was the first time I have ever rented a car/truck and had a super easy and manageable time. Looks like this location has a good flow going even when the day was throwing some curves. They actually cared and reassured me about driving one of the box trucks since it had been a while, and even asked how everything went after and ended with a handshake. I might be old fashioned, but that is the stuff that sets you apart in my book for repeat business.
Just a really pleasurable experience and I look forward to working with them all again.

“I had a hitch installed on my sedan this week and it was an overall wonderful experience. My vehicle is neither common nor easy for hitch installation and Jake did a quick and quality job with the installation. The only frustration with my experience was that Uhaul doesn't offer a shuttle service and public transportation doesn't go within 40 minutes of my house. So, I had to wait at a nearby coffee shop until installation was complete. Thankfully, it was done in about 2 hours and I was on my way with a hitch that should last as long as my car does.”

“We were expecting delivery on the 19th and it came earlier in the week. We were sleeping when it came and had not moved cars or opened the gate. The deliveryman was able to route his hose to the gate, then entered from the other side of the property and opened the needed gate for service. We slept through it all and this man went out of his way to get us serviced. Great job, and thanks!”

“I had a fantastic experience with the team at U-Haul today.

After accidentally locking the keys inside my rental van, I called customer service expecting to need a locksmith. I initially spoke with April and she documented the event while I waited for AAA. When AAA was not able to help, I call back and spoke with Annie. She was kind, reassuring, and never made me feel embarrassed. She explained the options, and when the locksmith would have cost around $200, she didn’t stop there—she took the initiative to check whether a spare key might be available.

A short time later, she called back with great news: they had located a spare at the field office, and Carolina, one of the field managers, personally drove it out to me. Their extra effort saved me a significant expense and got me back on the road much sooner than I expected.

Even the representative at the store in Kirkland was a delight to interact with during pickup and drop off.

Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to helping solve the problem rather than simply processing the transaction. Mistakes happen, and I appreciated being treated with kindness and respect throughout the entire experience.

“The office/store always smells like cigarette smoke which makes the experience a bit worse. The equipment was phenomenal though! It's very rare that I rent a truck that's this clean and modern and such. Truck drove and handled like a dream! The stairs built into the backside of the bed were very helpful for getting in and out of the bed. The self return site was NOT very user friendly. The picture taking and odometer entry verification sections were the least user friendly parts. At first the odometer kept including the placeholder zeros which initially charged me for driving 3,760 miles instead of the 78 I actually drove... Tip: if this happens to you, ignore the zeros and enter your odometer reading then move the cursor to just behind the last zeros and then you can finally delete them and be billed correctly! Pricing varies WILDLY within a hyper-local area! Kirkland Way Storage was $57.95 for 24 hts where as Kirkland U-Haul a mile up the road was nearly 50% cheaper!!! at $31.95! That's absurd! I only accidentally discovered this when I clicked the wrong location to restart my reservation online.”
