“Long story short: I really respect and trust the Mercer Street Vet team.
Long story long: We usually see Dr. Holly and she’s really great. Our dog has Addison’s Disease and she helped us find it step by step without sending either of us into a chaos spin. Our guy is a little bit of an anxious mess when he goes in but everybody helps to work around this. We’ve got a “chill protocol” they setup for us to help make his experience less overwhelming. I trust the diagnosis they give us and I don’t feel like they ever push extra things on us. The information is given to us and we choose if we would like to go further with it.

Easy in and out for our dog's annual check-up. Friendly staff. Upfront about costs, which I appreciated. The immunizations were seamless; they took our dog into the back and had her back to us quickly. Alva Cheng, DVM, came in and we had a pleasant conversation with her about our dog's health and she asked if we had questions/concerns. Will be back next year.”
“I cannot recommend Bothell Pet Hospital enough! I have a senior cat with a lot of health issues (asthma, gastroenteritis, heart murmur, occasional skin infections) and this vet has taken such good care of him. They are always so clear on what to expect for each visit and send frequent confirmations and reminders. Whenever my cat has labs done, they always take the time to make sure I really understand what's going on with him, what his results mean, and what options we have for treatment moving forward. I've worked mostly with Rachel Eulau in recent times, but have also seen Clark Camper, Lesley Kovar, and Karen Wichert.
Regardless of who is helping Felix out each visit, all of them have shown so much care and attention to detail. The rest of the staff are also wonderful and I appreciate the time they all take to make some of the more difficult parts of Felix's care as smooth, safe, and gentle as possible.”

“My 3 dogs and 1 cat all go to this clinic - I’ve been going to this clinic for about 10 years because they are wonderful! I have always been very happy with their veterinary services whether on an emergency basis or a routine checkup and procedure. The doctors are always knowledgeable and willing to look things up and report back, the vet techs are thoughtful and courteous, and the administrative team are knowledge about how things work when it comes time to schedule future appts, when to schedule what, etc. and they always get back to me right away when I email them, etc. dogs range from 7 lbs to 160 lbs and my cat is a naked Lykoi cat - so I’ve seen the clinic’s support for a few different kinds of patients and I’ve been happy with their approach on preventative care and treatments.
I have also seen them ask for feedback so it’s great that they are proactive about learning how they can improve. A few years back I responded to a survey - I gave feedback in connection with the administrative support team. The Doctor who is the managing partner of the clinic called me right away and listened to my perspective. I have not had any repeat issues since. They also now offer a certain level of emergency services which is great because it is close to our house.

“I took my cat to his first vet visit there and informed them that he bites. He made me look like a liar! Doctor Hoyer and the vet techs were so good with him that he barely seemed to mind at all! They vaccinated him, checked his teeth, clipped his nails, and kept the churu coming. I was surprised and impressed!”

“The veterinary care I've received for my cat has always been attentive and caring and explained carefully. They reached out via phone/email to check on how she was doing while she was really sick, and I appreciated the attentiveness. My cat has kidney disease. The vet care these days feels pricey... but I don't think that it is unique to this clinic, having a friend whom is a vet it seems to be that vet care everywhere is pricey, and their prices are likely comparable to nearby clinic locations. They always explain the cost of things when I ask and what the different options are, with their price points, which I appreciate. I am often able to get a vet visit same week for my cat as need be, if not same day, which is also appreciated.”

“For any bird owner, care at Evergreen Avian & Exotic pets is a must have relationship. Specialty training/degree in avian care is extremely important. Dr. Boutette is so skilled and takes excellent care with parrots. It was so impressive and much appreciated when he introduced himself to my parrot. Birds are so intelligent. It was amazing how that introduction made the first exam so much easier on my parrot. Annual exams are pretty traumatic for birds so the extra care goes a long way. Much appreciated. Respect is so important. I trust Dr. Boutette completely.”

“I came to Inglemoor Animal Hospital specifically to figure out dental cleaning for my dog and I was honestly expecting the usual “Sure, we can answer that once you book an appointment”. I had done a ton of research beforehand, things like anaesthesia protocols, pre-op bloodwork, dental radiographs, extraction decision criteria, pain management, basically the whole checklist, so I arrived with very specific questions and a healthy amount of caution.
To my surprise and relief, the team was willing to accommodate my ad-hoc visit and talk through everything with me right then. No pressure, no dismissiveness, just patient, competent answers that made it clear they take informed pet owners seriously.
I then scheduled the initial appointment with Dr. Vammen. She is truly exceptional! She brought a lot of positive energy and professionalism and what stood out most was how intentionally she built trust with my dog first. She took the time to establish rapport, let him get comfortable and by the end of that first visit he genuinely liked her which says a lot.
She also explained the procedure in detail, step by step, in a way that was both thorough and easy to follow. Throughout the process, the entire staff ran things like a well-designed playbook: consistent communication, clear expectations and zero surprises. I specifically asked for frequent updates and they called me multiple times during the day exactly as requested so I never felt “in the dark” while my dog was under their care.
The procedure itself was handled with real professionalism and genuine care. They followed up the next day to check on him which I appreciated more than I expected. It is a small gesture, bit also is a big signal of accountability.
Bottom line: they did precisely what they said they would do, delivered high-quality care and the pricing felt very fair for the level of attention and execution. I’m genuinely grateful to Dr. Vammen and the entire team and I wish them many happy years in business and a long line of satisfied customers like me.”
