Andrea who works at the Lowes, in Kent on Pacific highway is the epitome of customer service. She sets the bar for how customer service. Lowes is lucky to have her.

Oscar in lumbar gets 10/10 stars. Manager john gets 10/10 stars.
Basically every other part of this store is 2/5 at best

Yesterday I went to Lowes to exchange a leaky propane tank. Long story short, the manager asked me where I got my tank from. I know I got it there. Thats the only place I go. So after some light arguing, he swapped out my tank.
My man, I'm sorry. After leaving and thinking about what you said, i probably DID get it somewhere else. My wife probably asked me to get something from Fred Meyer. And maybe they sell propane? I'm honestly not sure, because I thought I got it from Lowes. And I know you guys probably deal with people trying to scam you and being assholes all the time.
Anyways, my bad. I appreciate that you handled it professionally. And when I come back to do another propane swap (I have an empty on my porch right now) I'll make it right.

This is the closest Lowe’s to my home, and I’ve probably spent tens of thousands of dollars here over the years for my houses. Most of the time, the experience is great, but they could definitely use more staff. It can be challenging to find someone to help with questions or to look up product availability.
One time, I ordered a product online, but the item that arrived was incorrect. When I went to return it, I was told the refund had to go onto a gift card. That was fine—I planned to just reorder the correct item online. I did that right there in front of the associate, but the gift card wouldn’t work for the purchase.
When I asked for help, the associate seemed annoyed, gave me a mean look, and told me the gift card could only be used in-store, not online. I was frustrated because that didn’t make any sense, but I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it. I ended up just using my credit card to place the order and left.
Overall, it was a very poor customer service experience, and the associate was unnecessarily rude about the situation.

Lowe's Home Improvement in Des Moines Washington is a Very Good place to shop for all my construction products. Their prices are competitive and they have some very good deals on tools. I will not buy cheap tools but I will not buy tools that are overly expensive either. So far, this Lowe's suites my needs Very Well. I would recommend this particular Lowe's to everyone that wants good quality tools and merchandise for a reasonable price. I'll be going back.

It's Lowe's. They got the stuff you can get discounts. I don't understand why you don't get a veteran's discount with appliances but oh well.

I really do like the store. The people were helpful asking if I needed anything. There's just a lot of drug activities going on around the place.

Catered more to the consumer than the contractor. Very bad at restocking items.

Went here to get something specific, couldn’t find what I was looking for, couldn’t find employees to help. Under staffed.

My 2 children and I just went to our first kid’s workshop at Lowe’s. It is free and happens one Saturday per month. My 4 and 6 year old kids loved it! They were able to use a hammer, nails and a kit to build a toy car. What a fun experience! George and Gloria were especially helpful. I haven’t received customer service like that in a long time. We will definitely be back for every workshop we are able to attend.

Fine selection, decent prices, but definitely lacking on some of the customer service/attention to details. Was unable to find a lumber cart anywhere near the Lumbar Yard, and when asked was directed to normal carts.
Fine, whatever, I only needed a single piece of PVC trim - but the only checkouts open were self-checkouts on the other side of the store. After slinging 8-feet of PVC trim over my shoulder, I had to finagle it at the register(since there’s no hand scanners), only for the machine to run out of receipt paper - and of course the attending employee did not have access to extra rolls, and had to radio in a request for it.
Any one of these individual issues I would shrug and say “it happens”, but the collective experience makes it very unlikely I’ll shop at this location again.
