This place is a joke, the staff are useless and just standing there doing nothing instead of helping customers. I can’t believe costco let such place exist, what a shame

No one picks up the phone. I called 3 times. The eyeglass frames they carry are overpriced and poor quality. If you bring in your own frames, they will claim they can’t use it because it’s not new and they will give you a spiel about how they don’t want to be responsible for breaking your frames when they install the lenses. But they sell frames that are so flimsy they will break first before my high quality frames bought from a different retailer that they rejected.

Crews and customers are all hours of waiting for nothing. Short of eye measurement table (only one).

Woman at front desk exudes unfriendliness and was very unhelpful. I walked away feeling discouraged and antagonized. Optometrist himself very friendly.

After 7 months of use, my prescription eyeglasses from Costco Willowbrook became hazy/foggy. I took them back to the store and they said they cannot do anything about it since the warranty of glasses is 90 days. So please be ware that warranty on Costco eyeglasses may not be a good as on other items.

Very unpleasant visit. The manager level lady (or, one of the owners) has just ridiculously aggressive tone of voice me being late for 5 mins. I admit it is my fault that I am late for 5 mins. But, the way she dealt with me I felt like I committed a crime for being 5 minutes late at an eye check up. The funny thing is she already gave the spot to someone else. It is not that they waited for me. Driving from downtown Seattle for an hour was wasted. I'm sure I will find some where else. However, this awkward feeling being verbally insulted is just not going away.

I have been preparing my glasses in Costco for more than 15 years. I would not come to this place anymore. When I presented them with my insurance, I was told that my insurance allowed me to prepare glasses as long as I would not exceed the limit of 700 dollars and they helped me calculate how to prepare one regular and one sunglass less than 700 dollars. I was thankful for them to help me with that. It turned out my insurance only reimbursed one pair each year. I already paid them out of my pocket for both pairs. I went back to ask them if they had known my insurance only covered one pair. They said it is my responsibility to check the insurance coverage. The guy gave me a mean smiley look which made me feel that he was proud of fooling me. His sly smile made me feel sick. It was my fault for not calling my insurance before I went to Costco which I had trusted 100%. However, they should have asked me to clarify my insurance for coverage before I prepared my glass instead of assuming it was fine to prepare two pairs. The issue is when he said my insurance covered two pairs, he was so confident that I immediately trusted him. This review is only for Kirkland Costo optical center. I did have a good experience with Issaquah Costco optical center two years ago. The lady I met in Issaquah was very honest and helpful. I believe some staff in Kirkland Optical center should be good too but I just decided not to go to this place anymore since I was hurt badly.

Way too busy. Feels like DMV there. Went a couple times and wait for hours and still could not get the order done. :(

Horrible experience. The employee there was very unprofessional that they could provide little to none help. The manager there is also not that qualified at customer service. Go to the on in Issaquah and if you have to come here, avoid the lady called “Kenali”.

This was the first Costco and also the lady stand of the west coast before the robots took over, one of the best stops on the time travel tour

Absolute trash. Don’t waste your time coming here. They will get you in and out in 10min. and take your money. I had to go to another optometrist to get a proper prescription.

I had a great experience with shopping at costco optical. The staffs are super friendly and helpful. For my trip, MIchael helps me measure the correct glass width, and suggest to use 55. In the past, I picked smaller glasses with short width, and it was not comfortable. The expensive optical shops I visited before never pointed this out to me.With Michael's helps, I am able to find very nice pair of frame that fits me perfectly. In addition, he also tells me the knowledge about lenses thickness, which is combining power and cylinder together, again something I only learnt from this trip.In addition, the glasses from Costo is super affordable. I have 350 dollars annual reimbursement from my insurance. The glasses I bought used to be in the 600-700 range, and I had to buy close to end of the year, and split the cost in two insurance years (frame in one year, and glass in another year). At costo, my glass costs less than 180 dollars. So I got two pairs of glasses in one calendar year, instead of getting one pair of glass every two years as before.Needless to say, I am super happy with Costco glass and services, and will go there again in the future.

Went to this Costco twice. Once last night and this morning. Apparently none of these “supervisors in a red vest” could confirm their stock on portable AC units. One Costco was kind enough to check stock around town and told us Kirkland Costco had 13. So we went there.
Get there and no one was able to figure out where these units where. Like how do you not know where 13 units are?
One person we spoke to said if they do, they put them out periodically… like why do that to customers. If a paying customer is looking for one, why not just bring them out and have customers buy them.
Never going back to this Costco again.

Horrible experience. While the prescription was correct, they gave me incorrect lenses on the glasses and when they replaced the lenses they damaged the frame in multiple places. Really a huge waste of time and money. The long wait time for ordering the glasses was just the beginning. Very slow staff that makes awful mistakes. I would avoid at all costs.
