“It's a quirky, kitschy, bar/antique store with great food and great live music. Only open a few days a week so check before you go. The owners, Paulina and Ernesto, are the nicest people.”
“Truly one of the best spots in the city. Service is friendly and knowledgeable, the space is cozy and welcoming, and you’ll find bottles and pours for everyone from your mom who just loves a classic Sauvignon blanc, to your friend who knows the most obscure producers. Love it.”
“My favorite liquor store. It has a great mix of products, some tasting options if you are looking for something new and can order for you if you are looking for something specific.”
“Awesome place. Just moved to the city and was looking for a top tier bottle shop and seems I hit it on my first try. Brandon was super knowledgeable and fun to chat beer with. Awesome selection, will definitely be a regular here.”
“Looking for a great selection of French (and others) wines? You have to check this shop out! Knowledgable and friendly owners and weekly tastings. Get on the email list for new arrivals. Go there!”
“The very best wine shop in the city. Great service, incredibly knowledgeable staff, and every bottle is well-selected so you know you’re going to get something enjoyable.”
“We visited JM at the Vault again, and Ryan and Jack were very friendly, and their service was excellent. Thanks to our friends who are members of the wine club, we enjoyed a tasting. We can’t recommend enough! (8/24/25)
Also, a big shout out to the servers Ali, Karen and Lucas who were very friendly and took good care of us.
We had a great experience at JM sellers at the vault. Becky was a friendly pourer, and we had a great tasting of red wines. She gave us a tour as well of the facilities. The atmosphere is very relaxed and nice. We will definitely come back.”
“Good prices, good selection, perfect place to grab study snacks for the library. Theyve got an atm too if you need cash for the library printer (its kinda ancient tho so processing takes a minute). Also a small selection of otc medicines. Its everything a bodega/diner should be except a rectangle 🩷”
“Modest shop with excellent wines. All of the options are hand selected by the owners. Most bottles are $25 or less. Go in with a budget and a type of wine and you’ll leave a happy customer.”
“Great deals and priceless customer service.Highly recommend for those who are looking for deals on vapes.every time I visit I never feel rushed on having to make a purchase.they stay updated with all new products from a subtle section of clothing.to snacks, drinks and smoking products.if any thing I could say that's a negative is there section of torches.”
“Approachable wines, affable merchant! This wine shop in the Columbia City are carries a wonderful variety of affordable and fun wines, with some very nice bottles for special occasions as well. This visit we picked up several new wines to try, some we chose and at least one we bought on a recommendation from the merchant. All very good, and none broke the bank.
What to know: street parking nearby or there is a pay by the hour lot just up the street. Visit the neighborhood for lunch and afterward pop in for some wines to help you celebrate the rest of the week. Wonderful!”
“Beautifully curated art and more, unexpectedly on the second floor of the mall. I found two prints I couldn’t live without. Really take your time and peruse the prints because there are some serious gems! If I lived closer, I’d come here regularly. The staff were very friendly and helpful.”

“This is a cute little store with a good amount of unique finds. From meats and cheeses to soaps to crackers and snacks and wine. Unfortunately we didn’t feel welcomed by the staff either time we stopped in, just not overly friendly or welcoming. Both times the staff member looked at us walking in and said nothing.”
“We've been eating here for years and the food is fantastic every time. The only feedback I have is that they use styrofoam containers for very hot food. So the food melts the styrofoam which is very unhealthy and unsafe. Hope they switch to a different container for hot foods.”
“Oh my gosh! Last night they had their annual Champagne Showcase. Tickets were $25. They had 49 different champagnes to sample, and they were all ice cold! Not to mention that they have very knowledgeable and helpful staff for a normal visit and just about anything you could possibly want to drink at their location. I believe they will do special orders if they don't have what you're looking for.”
“Ordered wine from Rain City Wines online, and the service I received from Josh was phenomenal, absolutely unmatched.
If you're in the area and looking to buy some nice wine, or you are looking to order online, check this place out. You won't beat this service anywhere.
Thanks for running such a great store, Josh! Your love and passion for wine is evident.”

“Great wine selection and very knowledgeable owners and staff. I joined the wine club for a reasonable price and I guess once you join, you are in for life. You get a discount on bottles that don't have a red mark on the price label when you join the club, along with some other benefits. Like that they are close to home and open often.”
“Full Pull ships during weather appropriate windows! They monitor the whole country! I haven’t bought wine off the shelf anywhere in years unless I’m on vacation somewhere. FP keeps me stocked and I get a little bit smarter every time I read one of their emails.”
“Caroline (the nice senior lady) is just the friendliest most knowledgeable person in the store.
She’s been there for years and knows more than anyone else about where everything is and more. I love going to world market, but just like most places customer service has declined.
Caroline is what I wish everyone was. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. It’s sooo hard to find anyone that has even one of those qualities in any store or restaurant these days.
And I love world market. Caroline brings it to another level just by her being there.”
“Lucky to have a place like Madrona Wine Merchants in the neighborhood. They go find all the incredible European wines so you don’t have to. Join the monthly wine club and let them do the selection for you ?”
“This place is awesome. Eventhough only open Saturday and Sunday, it's definitely worth the price of $16 each per tasting. That fee is waved if you purchase a bottle per person.”
“I have shop here afew times mostly from the supermarket area. I have found great stuff there. It’s fun to shop to by chocolate and cookies during the holiday season”
“This is a hidden gem for wines in Downtown/Belltown. He has some superb wines that you won't find anywhere else. I found a wine from my time in Denver that I loved and couldn't believe I found it here.”
“I love the selection at this grocery store, but it can get a bit crowded during weekends. They have great organic options, though, and the staff is pretty friendly. Just wish they had more checkout lanes open!”
“I attended a Belle and Bottle Foundation event this weekend. The entire event was first class. We were greeted with a fantastic sparking wine, treated to farm-fresh organic fruits and veggies, and tasty appetizers. Laura and Zaza curate their wines and their thoughtful planning was evident throughout the evening.
Definitely will be using them to help me select wine and sparkling wine for family events and weddings coming up this year and next.”
“Great store with a huge selection of wine, small but good local beer options, and wide variety of spirits to choose from. Staff is friendly and helpful. Worth stopping in if you haven't been before”

“Brenda in floral helped me with my wedding flowers when I was in a bind. I was coming from out of state and my other florals fell through. I told her on a Saturday what I wanted for my Tuesday wedding (small amount of flowers, just a bouquet, 2 corsages, and 2 bouts) and she was able to pull it off for me perfectly. The flowers were more gorgeous than I expected and my photographer was curious who did them. She was shocked when I said I got them done in a grocery store! thank you Brenda for the wonderful job you did, you saved the day!”

“Amazing gem of a place nestled right in the heart of Madison Park. The owner, Fred, is incredibly knowledgeable and you feel like you are establishing an amazing relationship where he’ll help you find exactly what you are looking for each and every time you visit. Great prices and terrific wines! Can’t wait to return!”
“The store it self is very well organized and well stocked! The thing that keeps me coming back though is the owner and her staff! They are absolutely amazing! Great customer service and very knowledgeable about the products the sell! Would highly recommend this place for all your desires!”
