I've been to several different locations for work and the Kirkland branch has been the nicest and most efficient to work with!

Staff were wonderfully pleasant to speak to and incredibly helpful sorting a delivery error at no fault of their own.
Huge props to Mike and to the lovely lady who helped but I didn't get their name.

I go here often for work purposes - while there is normally a long line, the employees are always kind and patient (despite people always grumbling waiting in line). You all deserve a raise!

I am changing my review. The Kirkland Post Office has improved greatly this past year. We haven't had packages dropped off an acre away in a long time or packages delivered to the wrong address in a long time. Thank you Kirkland post office for improving. Now if you could please not damage packages by forcing too big of packages into the mail box, when they should go to the front door. I will add more stars after this becomes uncommon.

The postal service is a government agency. As such, they have rules and likely struggle to stay fully staffed. That said, the workers at the Kirkland location work very hard and are incredibly patient during busy times. Expect a line if you go Friday just before closing. Skip the line by going in the morning.
Inside the building are PO boxes and places to drop your packages. Outside is a drive-by letter box. Altogether a good community post office.

They frequently mark packages delivered but don't deliver them. I live in an apartment and the mail box is inside and locked. I have never encountered a usps or any company that marks packages delivered but they haven't delivered them. They are pathetic, no wonder their budget is being cut. They would do a better job if they had a private company deliver the mail for them.

They somehow managed to hang up on me three times in a row. After failing to deliver a package because apparently, even though I filled out a form and signed it (as well as recorded my preferences on the freaking usps website), it wasn't good enough and they felt the need to leave a snarky note.
I tried to use the website, as well as call, but apparently the phone system doesn't work and neither does the website. I have spent an hour dealing with trying to get one package delivered. This is ridiculous.

You don't get customer service like this in the private sector anymore! Friday morning, 100 people in line and one person to help them. She was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful, making sure each customer got exactly what they needed and everything they needed. Truly incredible attitude and a pleasure to work with.
