“Lovely books & gifts shop. We were visiting the city of Ellensburg for the State Science Olympiad competition, and Pearl Street Books & Gifts was one of the places we've stopped by. We usually look for used books stores in every big city or little town we visit. And although this book shop doesn't sell used books (only new ones), I liked it very much. They have quite a variety of gift options, and many of them are made by local artists (wood burning pictures were my absolute favorites!). Ended up buying some locally made chocolate.Definitely worth visiting!”

“Visited the CWU campus as part of a school trip with a group of 40 students. We visited the store to allow students to pick out merch. The employees were awesome and the selection of merch was well stocked. All the students got a great item to remember their school campus visit. The associate Jose was super friendly and patient while we had a line of 40 high school students gathering their items and scanning all the items. Thanks again for an amazing visit!!!”

“I kept thinking of this place since my last visit to my sister and town - we finally went in after asking about your store every time we come.My mom, sister and I got to really enjoy the feeling of the place, it reminded me of a precious treasure bookstore we had back home in Boise, where the shelf’s almost hit the ceiling and to find a book you had to really look!It was really nice having a chat with the man who runs the store. He got to have pleasant talks with my mom talking about the differences in his sale business vs other book stores and he gave me some great advice about how to manage my reading time! Plus where to start on a book a little bit in to see if it’s for me to continue. Never thought of that.Also gave us a great review about the music across the street.Wanted to make a review about your establishment and how humbling it was and to also say thank you for selling me Children of Paradise for 5$… I just finished it last week!After reading some of these reviews, I now have a deeper understanding of your policies and will do my best to uphold them during my next visit. (Not that we brought any bags or purses in but now we know! lol)Keep the convos going and the books stacking!! I’m sure you get the right crowd in from time to time.
