Stupid policy, go in to close an account, and it makes me delay it a day, then it lets another charge through over drafting my account and preventing the closure. Also Janet was extremely condescending over the phone, treats you like a child if you're upset with their policy. Horrible service, horrible bank.

Awful bank, demanded a birth certificate to open an account, and then refused to give me my money back when I asked them to close my account because management isn't in on Saturday.

The employees in my local branch seem nice enough but it seems like there is a disconnect between their national organization and the local branches. When I had problems with my account they seemed clueless and helpless. I will be closing my account and taking my business elsewhere.

I had an issue at this bank trying to get money from my debit card. I first went to the drive through and the teller was unhelpful so I told him I'll come inside. Unfortunately, it was the same teller at the front desk and I should have left (the teller is a blond guy). I got my money but I had to talk to the manager about the issue. I hate to write a review about a bank but it was horrible customer service. The manger said I can try another branch or ATM next time! Rude customer service. I don't have anything positive to say about it!

No customer service by phone. Employee Isaac was snippy and condescending. No return calls. No follow-up. Very bad experience with the Lacey branch of Key Bank. No accountability. Should be shut down.

No customer service by phone. Employee Isaac was snippy and condescending. No return calls. No follow-up. Very bad experience with the Lacey branch of Key Bank. No accountability. Should be shut down. They did not earn the one star I was required to give for this review. I called the branch a month ago, spoke to a lady who was going to follow-up and give me a return call. She never called back. They have been holding my funds from an account they closed. The 800 number for Key Bank customer service advised me to work directly with the Lacey branch on an account issue I was having. Yesterday, I called the branch again and spoke to Isaac who informed me they cannot discuss my bank account over the phone. This is the direct phone number for customer service at the Lacey branch of Key Bank and they can't discuss my account... this is their only job! I called the 800 number back and they are working on my concern which has now been ongoing for almost two months. The customer service team at the 800 number now has to be the middleman between me and the branch to resolve my issue. I have no confidence in this location and they are tarnishing the brand of Key Bank as a whole. Sad.

Today I went to Key Bank to pay rent. I didn't go inside at first. I pulled up behind another car waiting to be helped outside. This older lady got out of her car and walked over to me to say that she had given them her info and was waiting for her money. She is handicapped and can't wait in line inside because standing is hard on her. So I went inside. There was a very long line. As I stood there I heard the teller being kind of rude to the lady over the intercom. She told her we're getting that out to you now and some other words. They helped 2 other people inside before I saw them send out her money. When I got up to the counter I said to the teller "wow you are busy today. There's an old lady out there waiting to be helped." The teller says to me everybody is waiting. As I left I said I didn't mean to offend anyone. Then the teller says to me again everyone is waiting in a rude tone. As I left I asked is this is how all the tellers treat customers here? No one said anything. I get that is gets busy, but to talk to customers that way is just rude. And to make that old lady just sit there while they help people inside is not nice. I'm glad these guys aren't my bank. But I feel sorry for anyone that has to deal with this kind of customer service.
