0 stars for walking in and being “greeted” by a petty employee immediately demanding to know if the drink cup I threw out in their (uncovered) trash can on the way in still had a drink in it. It had some residual ice in it. He asked me to dump it out in the future. What a joke. Policing your customers’ ice contents in trash is not how to create a positive store environment. I took my cup out of the trash on my way out. Was a very-occasional customer of this store. Plenty of other places to buy supplies, will choose another in the future.

Went to O'Reilly for testing a battery. The employee recommended taking a photo of the reading from the O'Reilly battery load tester. When I went to Walmart for a replacement battery, they told me there was enough of a charge that they would not replace the battery. Because I had taken the photo as advised at O'Reilly, I was able to show the Walmart employees proof that there was less charge than they were claiming. Because of the O'Reilly employee's recommendation, I was able to get a replacement under the original warranty, and only had to pay a fee rather than the whole price of a new battery. Thank you, O'Reilly.

While moving 3k miles we got caught having some car troubles so we stayed here over night and in the morning the nicest man helped my husband run codes and figure out what was going on so we could make it the rest of the way. I never got your name sir but we made it safe and sound and I appreciate everything you did for us.

Had such a bad experience that it has been months and I am still not over it. First time I was ever treated this way by a local store. Merely wanted to upgrade a $30 scanner I purchased the previous day and was treated like I was a criminal. The staff at the Whitman Ln location approached me with aggressive demeanor before I had a moment to discuss my request. The experience was so shocking that I didn't know how to respond or react and even less so make my inquiry. I decided to walk away as I didn't know how to process the experience. The only logic I could gather from the incident regarding my purchase was that it was some kind of non returnable item. So I thought to myself, perhaps I should navigate to the Pacific Ave location in hopes to find less confrontational persons to calmly discuss my request with. I got there, had a calm young gentleman explain to me that he cannot help me as the item was purchased at the Martin Way location and that I should head there to receive help. So I figured, might as well. I then headed to the Martin Way location and before I could fully enter the door a man shouted at me loudly "NO". Again I am stomped and shocked at the behavior of this company's employees. I didn't know how to process that reaction as I hadn't done anything wrong, so I calmly continued to approached the counter and timidly began discussing my inquiry. It wasn't 1 minute before I got cornered again by 3 employees as one of them towered over me aggressively shouting that I had tried to return the product at the Whitman Ln location and that they were not going to put up with me for wanting to return or exchange products. They went on about no return on a product that is as-is or something of the sort. I never heard of such a thing at a retail store, so I was confused about the whole ordeal. I cannot believe this experience all over a $30 item for which I was trying to "upgrade" to serve my use case. The product I had was not working for some reason, so I was trying to "upgrade" in hopes of attempting to obtain something that would hopefully be more reliable due to more features or brand quality. You would think that a store would be happy with a customer wanting to spend more money, but instead this is the treatment and experience I had to undergo.PS: I had been a loyal customer of this chain for 20 years before this incident...

Friendly and helpful folks. I love that you can shop online to check for availability of parts before you go into the store. Replaced my wiper blades and I was in and out in two minutes. They offered to help instal them for me. Reasonable prices.

What a surprise like every other auto parts store in Thurston county, staffed by racist that live to waste peoples time or express aggression at for no reason. At least they have a real live hobbit on staff.

I really like this parts store, they have just about everything I have ever needed, or they will have it in a day or two. I have been coming to the Hawks Prairie O'Reilly's since they opened and never had anyone help me that was not kind cheerful and ready to help me get what I need.I thank everyone at this store for all they do to make this the best parts store around.
