“Just moved in and I'm absolutely loving the complex!Management was super helpful during the move in process and I love the unit. Layout makes great usage of square footage, feels bigger than it is as a result. Lots of little perks (in unit w/d, new kitchen appliances, lots of closet space etc) that come together for a great experience. Super friendly community that's made me feel right at home.Best of all the views of lake Washington are flat out AMAZING!!!”

“Such an amazing wine store for your average wine drinker. They have a great selection of $10-$20 wines and don't care what your price range is they will go above and beyond to find the best bottle for your tastes.Totally worth the extra stop after shopping at Fred's to get your wine here. Prices are almost identical so you're not even "paying" for the above and beyond service.”

“My go to liquor store in the area. The shop keeper is always very knowledgeable and helpful. They have some more difficult to find items that your chain liquor store won't have.”

“What a great find. Don't be fooled by the outside, inside are some great wines and the owner definitely knows what he is doing. He spent the time with us to introduce us to several wines from regions we hadn't tried before. Very friendly, very helpful and a very nice selection of wines. We will definitely be back..”

“Great little store! The couple that owns it is very sweet, and they give great recommendations for beer. They also do those "build your own 6-pack", so you can try lots of beers and ciders. They also have a good selection of wine.”

“I really like this little shop. Like most neighborhood/convenience store Lyons has about anything you'd need in a pinch. Additionally they have a sandwich shop inside where they can make you something tasty to eat in about 10 minutes. I have driven out of my way to grab a sandwich from this place...Also, as a part of the neighborhood, they know the people and happenings of the area and I feel that is important in any neighborhood.”

“A lot of choices for its size! Truly something for everyone. The folks running the place are super friendly and helpful and they have the cutest little pup. Can't recommend enough!”

“This wine store boasts the largest selection of wines in Seattle. I was able to buy the wine from the northwest region of the US that I was looking for!Hours are short, but it is conveniently located next to the first Starbucks store.”

“We had a private event at Northwest Sprits and it was perfect. Kristin (Events Director) was super organized and responsive. She answered all the questions and emails promptly which made our decision making easy. The food from Von’s 1000 Spirits was fresh and delicious. Jacqueline (General Manager/mixologist) and Kaitlin (mixologist) who ran the event were super professional and helpful, they made empty glasses and plates “magically” disappear from the tables. But most importantly they made delicious and beautifully presented crafted cocktails while accommodating dietary restrictions of our guests. All of our guests were extremely happy with the event.”

“Great wine store, I have been a customer for the 20 years they have been in 3 Ballard locations. Excellent European selection in addition to Northwest wines. Very knowledgeable team and a family owned business. Stop by and check it out!”

“"These Carrots are like perfectly sliced down the middle"...I learned from the best, she taught me everything vegetal, green, seasonal, especially the nonsensible light of day...La Padrona in the Alley, her Pink Door.Soft they were yet not to where the root flavors are boiled or burnt off, we're in the stratosphere of cook knows his vegetable do's, Italian or not, someone back there has an understanding. You decide, was their texture left for your knife or jaws? Both were fine by the cookery, serration of a knife no affront through to the bottom or the underlying plate, no curse and scratch or chop when carrots are cooked like this I insist to my owner's manual, "Elbows on vaneer, fingertips and suffering no rules"... or etiquettes, unbound, I eat them same as pulled from the ground, space out in earthly romance, index and thumb...slow like frog's legs. So I was then just felt like the I want to be both here and disappear...into the brights and hinges of a hanging chandelier...Okay then...some nuts, pine I think I recall added a brute bitter to play with the coaxed sweetness yellow, white, purple, orange, green heirloom almost a fruit when given the right chase. Drops of whipped ricotta and lemon the struts n' accenture here... just barely enough...foment the regularity of root and dust.I only had veggies and wine with Cora and I was happy, that's what I wanted. I ate some delicious greens, hydrating, sprite and stewed...a kick spicy and a tart charm, again hydratingly healthy and robust with fueling energies. The place is clean and dust free, moistened table woods and overheads, glass, utensil, plate, reflections all around, spotless and shining...Every place set, equidistant, held and thought of.The host was server, I am so sorry young lady, I have forgotten your name. I apologize and your timing and your intent said much about the owner...Kelly, she has a smile like a three part summer's day and was completely sincere, I think that was the most amazing thing was Kelly's resilience and hospitality. We talked and it's a hard few years in the restaurant business. She's a wonderful soul with gift's genuine and loving. I felt happy she was very savvy, has a ton of confidence, a beautiful timelessness that's brave and near.Cora is very nice but doesn't lose itself in itself, it's ultimately delightful for any occasion, few, a long table of ten or just one as myself when I went... it's all the same, that's real talent when it's like that. You should go, don't hesitate. They are all so present.Thank you all...~Terrence”

“Very helpful, kind staff, and a carefully curated selection you can trust, with both local and French varietals (our faves). We stopped in while visiting and happened upon the Saturday tasting, which was a lovely treat. Wish we lived closer so we could visit regularly! They even have pre-cooled bottles in the fridge.A can't miss if you're in Queen Anne.”

And can’t forget about the backyard patio.Ps: pets? and family friendly?”

“One of the best bottle shops in the country!I've had many of Bottleworks' anniversary beers in the past because they always team up with stellar breweries to make them.. but before today I have never visited the famous shop. It's smaller than I imagined it to be but every beer inside, from the draft list to the cans and the bottles are carefully curated by the staff. We grabbed a quick beer (Hill Farmstead, which is the first time I've seen this brewery for sale in the since I started this trip 6 weeks ago and Ive been through 4 states)Then we shopped for some cans, we quickly had to refrain from buying too much as the refrigerator in our van only holds so much. We ended up with a six pack and then grabbed a mystery 4 pack on the way out (mystery 4 pack was stellar). While we're shopping they opened a sour from Jester King and shared it with us.I honestly wish I lived a bit closer (Las Vegas is kinda far) because I'd be here everyday... Honestly, they have a whole cooler just for barley wine! The staff are very knowledgeable about beer and are very hospitable. Thanks for a great experience!”

“Fantastic cafe owned by the most wonderful man. Paul is an absolute treasure and you are remiss if you give up an opportunity to swing by this spectacular venue. Food is high quality and affordable, the staff are delightful, and the tap list is top notch. Grab a crossword at the front door and settle in for a while!”

“I recently endeavoured to find Licataa, the sparkling red wine created/developed by Raekwon. I know I am several years late to this, but recently heard about it and struggled to find any bottles near me. A google search directed me towards Rain City Wines.I haven't bought too much wine online other than through subscriptions, and was unsure how it was going to go but I have to say Rain City surpassed my expectations in packaging, shipping time, and care they put in assembling it all together.I'll definitely order from them in the future the next time I need to track down a bottle that isn't available in my area. Thank you, Rain City! Also if you get your hands on any more bottles of Licataa, send them my way!”

“You're not just getting great wine at a good price - the proprietor is wonderful about sharing his excitement and interest in wine. You'll love the same bottle better if you buy it after talking to him.”

“Special Brews is one of the pillars of the Seattle-area beer community.Their bottle selection is large and well-curated with all styles represented - the best lambic selection in town, plenty of barrel aged things, and of course all sorts of lager, IPA, cider, gluten-free beers, and more. The taplist is large and diverse and will always have things to interest anyone. The staff are a blast and offer great recommendations. There's plenty of seating, a TV to watch the game, and a good number of food options nearby you can bring in.This is everything you'd want in a local bar and everything you'd want in a specialty store combined into one.”

“Original Artwork will always be expensive.. prints vary…I imagined this place a little bigger but overall 4/5 . Maybe a 5 if they switched out artists. Online info of artist and paintings on display would be nice.”

“I'm Capt Steve Seattle tour guide Customized Tours and this is one of our customers favorite stops. Customers say one freshly made sandwich is enough for two. Sit in sun or shade and enjoysome great local snacks like Bavarian Meats Landjaeger or Macrina bakery scones and muffins. Always a fresh breeze by the water at Fishermen Terminal. Don't forget to say hello to Captain Joe the owner!”

“Moonrise is always busy when I come, for good reason! Love how they have an outdoor area to sit with a roof. It's just such a cute little bakery! They have a products area with wine, canned fish, coffee beans, chocolate, etc. I always love looking over what they have; their items make great souvenirs for people who aren't from Seattle. As for the food, Moonrise has this amazing double baked croissant. It's literally the best croissant in Seattle, it's flaky, has melted chocolate, and is not too expensive! Their other pastries are great too, like their cookies and gruyere croissants. As soon as you walk in you just smell a heavenly mix of everything! If you're in Queen Anne you have to stop by this place.”
