“There is a young lady by the name of Melinda. She is so patient. She is so caring about people filling out their passport information properly. God bless her. I had to fill out my application four times maybe even five but God bless her and her patience.”

“Dupont is the best office for service! Unfortunately, since new PMG decided to consolidate all carriers to larger facility in Tumwater, communication for delivery situations need to report your issue on the USPS.com website. It is a very busy office for passports, so avoid Mondays and Fridays, and for this reason, they won't have time to answer your phone calls. Again, best to use the website! Walk in for passports are ALL WEEK, appointments not necessary ?
If you're still bent on complaining about the service, you haven't seen nothing yet!! Wait til Elon Skunk privatizes and tears it apart!”

“The gentleman that was working at 11am this Wednesday is so upbeat and friendly! I wish we had more people like him in customer service. I think his name was Cornelius (I couldn't get a good look at the name tag). Deserves a raise!”

“This is hands down the best post office I’ve ever visited. The service is consistently excellent, and the staff is truly exceptional—always kind, knowledgeable, and respectful. Every customer is treated with dignity, and you can tell they take real pride in their work. Even when I'm across town, I go out of my way to come here because I know I’ll be treated well and my mail will be handled with care. Truly a standout location!”
“Large location. After arriving, you need to stop for a service. They say what door, you get up on the door, unload it, the paper will be in the trailer. I was quickly unloaded.”

“The United States Postal Service provided excellent service. The employee I interacted with was very nice, friendly, and professional. They went out of their way to be helpful, answering all my questions with patience and a smile. It made the whole experience quick and pleasant. I truly appreciate their kindness and dedication to customer service.”
“I was lucky to go to the post office when there were only 3 people in line. I had 12 large manilla envelopes to mail. It took 10 minutes from entering the post office to getting back into my car. Service was pleasant. There are so many questions and answers for mailing each packet, it gets kind of confusing if you are tired. The good news is that I mailed everything I needed to! It was a good time to go at 3 pm.”
“The post office was great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. But you're carrier's keep delivering my mail to my neighbors! What's the deal???”
“I was recently at the USPS in University Place and I am shocked to see this score. Everyone was super nice. Really. They were. What is up with the bad scores? We need to fix that.”

“After first visit here this will now be my go-to post office. Only downside may be that there’s no dedicated parking lot and they do close for lunch. It is a small office so be patient when it comes to reopening from lunchtime. Come early in the morning or late afternoon and you’ll be good to go. Hardly ever a wait.”
“This U.S. Post Office is conveniently located on Mountain Highway just north of O’reilly Auto Parts.
Two entrances/exits make for a pretty seamless merge back into traffic heading north or south on Mountain Hwy.
Friendly staff at the counter. Always willing to take your package/letter at the counter quickly if you don’t need a receipt. They’re also quick to help even if you do need more than just a simple package/letter drop off.
Only thing I wish they had was a spot or bin to quickly drop a package off if you don’t need a receipt when the staff is busy. The line here does backup sometimes as there are only two checkout points at the counter, so if you have a package that won’t fit into the quick post boxes, you may have to wait for a bit to drop off a box that won’t fit into the small slots on the wall.
Lobby is always clean and well maintained. Good amount of PO boxes in this location, but the availability of them is unknown to me.
Overall, a nice and convenient post office for those in need!”
“I was just watching a First Amendment Audit video today on YouTube from 5 hours ago, 4/14/2026, by I.A.M. Free Inland Auditing. I was pleasantly surprised. Jeremy was awesome. He was polite and friendly. The auditor had one “Karen” interaction. She eventually left out the back doors and drove away. This one man was walking through the parking lot armed. There is a law and several signs that state there are no firearms on postal property. He was testing the waters by confronting the auditor. The armed man claimed “curtilage”- that’s a 4th amendment thing. He is/was misinformed. He insisted that he could carry in/on postal property and had the firearm on his right hip. See photos below ⬇️. Outrageous! Consider the source ?.”
“Susan is one of the nicest employees here and was really helpful. I am so used to not having good experiences with customer service so this was really refreshing.”

“I've had good experiences here, always been treated with respect over the years by all employees. I just time my trips between their required breaks or lunch, and everything has been chill. The wait is usually only a couple of minutes for service.”
“Man I went through hell and high water for my passport Because it was (Misplaced) in the mail. BUT THANKS TO MARIA AND DANIEL I WAS ABLE TO GET IT. NOW I GET TO SEE MY DAUGHTER FOR HER BIRTHDAY. 10/10”
“I have always been treated courteously even if I did have to wait in line for a while. Its not the fault of the employees if people have unreasonabe requests or just problems that take a while to resolve.. Not everyones issues are simple. People should just have more patience. They should try to put themselves in the same place in their own job and ask themselves if theyve ever had a prob with a customer and had someone waiting and couldnt do anything about it but have them wait?”
