Hard Row to Hoe Vineyards is a family-owned winery with a location in Leavenworth, described as a hidden gem and great underground local winery. The cozy, intimate, and cool venue offers a great break from the cold street. The winery provides fantastic and delicious wines, with a tasting of several reds and whites available. Service is noted as good and welcoming, even to large groups, with knowledgeable staff who share stories and the history of the winery. The tasting fee is waived with a bottle purchase. The space is dog-friendly and features great music, plus an assortment of nibbles to enjoy with the wine. It is considered a good stop while shopping and worth the visit.

Good wines that they do in their own way. I’ve been visiting this tasting room as a non-member for many years and it’s great to see how they cycle through their rose’s and GSM to suit the best picks of the vintage. I would highly recommend visiting and tasting for yourself. Their ruby port is a standout!
