“Saturday afternoon wandering the shops, and happened upon this great underground local winery. Our host was fantastic,20 years in wine-making and a great story-teller. Not busy, open "Kegs" to sit at. Tasting fee waved if you bought a bottle. Worth the visit!”

“Note: this Yelp post is specifically for the Safeway fuel area, not the actual grocery store (9/21/23). I noticed regular gas prices along Hwy 2 from Monroe, Sultan, and Leavenworth were rather high, above $5/gallon. On my way towards Cashmere, I made a note to stop at the Safeway fuel area outside of Leavenworth. It was surprisingly at $4.80ish/gallon (sorry wasn't able to obtain a receipt). I felt much better topping off the tank before heading back to Shoreline.”

“With the abundance of winery tasting places in Leavenworth, I only went to two tasting rooms and bought a Bergdorf Cellars Gluhwein (spiced wine) pouch that holds two bottles. I liked the variety of flavors in the Gluhwein and that checked suitcase-friendly nature of the two bottle pouch with a spout, so it does not have to be drunk quickly.I liked that the $20 wine tasting included a large number of red and white wines including some Reserves. The lady doing the wine pours graciously came outside to serve my tastings at the table. She offered some crackers and a cocoa covered nut as wine palate cleansers and enhancers which was a nice touch.I looked at the Google reviews and winery wine prices for basically all the Leavenworth wineries since some have rather expensive bottles of wine. Bergdorf made my list of wineries to try because of the good reviews and prices. Between the two wineries I went to, I liked Bergdorf's wines the best.”

“A simple, no frills diner type restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy, the food was good (except for my fruit looked old), and I was in and out in less than 30 min because it was so early/slow.”

“I stopped in here while wondering around Leavenworth awhile back. I have been in here before but this time I read some of the different things, the cork screws had me laughing and I ended up buying one for my friend who was looking after my place while I was away, these had some great little sayings on them. The 2 women working in the store on this day where so nice, we laughed and talked like out friends, its women like this that keep people like me coming back!”
