We have been coming here for years with our kids, and we’ve never had anything but amazing experiences. The shop is filled with interesting things and high-quality wooden toys and puzzles. The employees are so friendly and kind to the kids. This shop is a gem!

Cute. They seemed to have reduced the silly hats and have a lot more usable ones. Things are well organized, but maybe it prevents the goofiness of trying on silly hats... which was what we were looking for.. but it's understandable to have more hats you'd actually wear.

Featuring locally handmade wooden puzzles and toys made in the U.S. and around the world! Wurlygigz is our newest addition, right next door to The Wood Shop Hat Shop! Come upstairs & Play-Build-Explore!! Games, Legos, and interactive toys for all ages.

Few can resist the fun of playing dress-up with the Hat Shop's hundreds of zany novelty hats. If you've ever mused, ?Where can I get a hat that looks like a chicken wearing lederhosen is sitting on my head?? wonder no more. Oh, sure, they have some nice-looking hats that are actually functional, but let's face it: you're here to try on the Viking helmet with fake blonde braids attached. In addition to hats, they have neckties, novelty sunglasses, toys and board games, and costumes. On the other side is the Wood Shop, which sells old-fashioned wooden puzzles and toys and is a favorite with kids. Can't make it all the way out to Leavenworth? Luckily, the Hat Shop also has a Seattle location near Pike Place Market at 1st and Union.
