It's ok.
I used to live on the south hill. They were good to me here.
The one in Millwood kind of treats me like I'm stupid. The last time I was in there, the cashier treated me like I didn't know how to give cash, receive cash back. The boy putting my groceries in my bag.... Well he put one thing in my bag and the rest in the cart.
Another time I was in there I wanted something hot from the deli. Two worker saw me. They just ignored me and walked off. No other customers around.

I come here often,as it's only one of two grocery stores near my house. however I am very cautious with buying produce here. It's definitely hit or miss! I bought a grab and go mixed berry bowl which had a dead fly in it ! Gross! ( had to throw it away)$9.99 And I bought a package of blueberries which on the surface looked fine( $5.99) 2 days later I hadn't gotten to use them yet and had to throw them out due to 3/4 of them being completely mushy and moldy!! DO BETTER! I wasted almost $20.00 . These 2 produce items were purchased at the time.I also want to call out their sale prices and the headache that comes along with trying to get them! I have a Safeway card ,great! But they also have digital coupons that you need to scan and "clip" in the Safeway app . The sale price should reflect after the cashier hits total. More often then not the cashier has to manually discount items that didn't ring up properly! This holds up the whole line and also leaves alot of room for error on the cashiers part! Not to mention the cashiers seems very frustrated as well! FIX IT!!

Buyers, be aware that Prices at checkout do not reflect the prices in the ad or on the signs. I purchased many items that were on sale and When I went through the self check out half of them did not ring up at their sale price and I had to have the clerk manually adjust them. The clerk was very nice, but this shouldn’t happen. Managers need to make sure that the system is accurately putting in the correct prices.

I like this store, but unfortunately have had a couple experiences that are not appropriate. The worst is I had my 87 year old mother with me and I was picking up medication in the pharmacy. She was sitting in the chairs provided by the pharmacy and behind her is the butcher meat counter. As she was waiting for me a customer and the butcher were telling very dirty jokes. They were both so loud you could hear their dirty jokes and their laughter. That is just not appropriate. Plus my mom heard every detail of the jokes. I have also been treated by an employee with eye rolls and shaking of their head. Perhaps they need better employee training!

Absolutely worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. My daughter was having a severe asthma attack, and I went to pick it up. The gal behind the counter without checking her computer had told me my daughter wasn't in the system and wouldn't accept our insurance. My daughter is in the store having a terrible time trying to breathe while I had to get on the phone to verify my insurance is and was active, and my daughters medication WAS covered. It took the gal 34 min to verify my insurance after arguing with me as my daughter was suffering. Nichole, another gal who knew what she was doing, came to help and got my daughter her prescription within 2 min of her doing her job. If it wasn't for Nichole, my daughter would've ended up in the emergency room. I am disgusted and appalled by this Safeway pharmacy and their lack of effort towards helping others as if it's not their job and will ?advise others to go elsewhere for their medications.

Wow #Safeway Liberty Lake is the place to shop especially for a wide choice of fresh organic options.
Walking into this section I had to stop and meet who keeps this up. It is so clean organized & welcoming. The produce section that is kept up ongoingly by the bright and cheerful rockstar, Amber and manger Brian is worth shouting about! Im glad I went 2xs as far to shop here this morning.
The 2nd photo is another happy shopper who also stopped to tell Brian what a pleasure it is to be here!
Angelina Floral Dept mag is another rockstar. I bought 3 bouquets of Gerberas last week & they have brought me so much joy that I bought three more bouquets of diff flowers this week. I usually buy 1 but these flowers look so healthy.
PS to top off this exceptional experience Becky bagged my groceries then eagerly offered to carry them out. Come to find out shes worked at this location through previous company for nearly 25 yrs! I asked her what she though made the difference since 2 star rating and she said leaders, Jeremy and Nikki make the positive difference.
Everyone’s attitude was remarkable.

My favorite Pharmacy staff hands down! They have been taking care of my prescriptions for years. I think it would be a Very difficult job dealing with sick or injured people, them having a bad day and all. I’ve been thru so many chapters of my life while knowing them. Thru some terrible times & the wonderful, I feel so cared about. John is one of my people ( like one of my tribe) he is so clever, dapper and hardworking. Nicole just melts my heart with her attention to detail, (she notices when I use a new mascara) I just love her. Casey. Tam, Chantal, River and all awesome humans, you are doing fantastic keeping Liberty Lake healthy & safe !

We typically shop at Safeway once per week and spend between $300.00 - $400.00 per week. Today we were told that we needed to download an ap to get a discount on soda. When I asked why that was necessary when we already have the club card "Jacob" (a supervisor) said I needed to be technologically advanced in a condescending tone. Well Jacob, you lost a customer today.

I tell you, this Safeway has this sweet lady making scrumptious sushi fresh daily. It's really saying a lot when I tell you this grocery store sushi is literally the best I've had at any restaurant in Spokane. It's fresh, delicious and reasonably priced!
Second time purchasing and totally satisfying both times! I believe I have a new sushi stop.
