“Best store in the Highlands neighborhood. Have been coming here since I was a teenager and have seen the store improve a lot over time.
It's been ran by the same 4 people for as long as I can remember, and they all work really hard to keep the store clean and organized.”
“Employees are always polite & helpful.
Store is always clean. The hot food is good, donuts & cookies always made fresh. The fresh produce saves a trip to town, the shelves are stocked with a little bit of every thing, like a mini market.
We are lucky to have this store in our neighborhood!”

“Good place. Quick snack stop. Easy to get into...but let's face it, making a right to get back out to the egress way to the highway?? Fugedaboudit!! Store was clean and transactions were quick.”

“As a trucker I was skeptical because its a small place. However after eating in the restaurant inside id tell all truckers in the area the have huge portions with there meals. Good prices and truck parking. I left here stuffed n ready for a nap. I can't give it 5 stars tho because the bathrooms where locked n could only use porta podys outside. But the next truck stop is a bit of a distance from here n the food makes up for the lack of bathrooms. Even in the store they have good food not just the restaurant.”
“We were referred to Jacobson’s by Dan at NAPA after our car broke down Thanksgiving Day. Taylor at Jacobson’s squeezed us in Friday morning and diagnosed that we needed a new alternator and battery. Taylor had everything done by 4:30 the same day!! He was vacuuming the interior and washing the windows on our car when we walked up. Taylor went above and beyond and was very polite and conscientious about his work. Work was done in a timely manner and a fair price!! Highly recommend this shop!!!”
“This is a pretty decent gas station/food shop. The prices are usually pretty good compared to the average around here. The food shop has the usual sodas, energy drinks, beer, snacks, and general goods. Some bakery goods are available but not a great selection of fresh foods or cooked foods like others. The staff working here have all been very kind and work very hard. The place is also very clean with prices on everything.”
“Changing my review. After finding out that the accusations I made were because of lies I retract my statement that this place sucks. It does not. Its very friendly place. I just had issues with neighbors and the staff got dragged into it. So please come on down”
“Amazing worker/human being. I lost my wallet and was out of gas but the cashier lady didn't know that and my Samsung pay was not working and she paid my 20 $ for gas not knowing me. and dressed like I just woke up lol. I did go back and pay her back. Amazing worker/human didn't catch her name but I know she get off work at 2”

“I rarely write a review but as humans, unfortunately, we usually are quicker to point out the negative in a person then we are to acknowledge the positive so here i go. I came in late night after work for beer and smokes. Dakota was very kind although he was busy, and i was a bit annoying because i was tired and un sure of what i wanted, he was very polite and helpful. He quickly helped his other customers then suggested some items for me. Im all for customer service and his kindness (although my day was horrible) made me remember that it only takes one person to make a difference. Something so simple brightened my night. Thanks Dakota”

“This place is good if you want a quick bite to eat or a snack. It has really good fried chicken, buffalo sauce and corn dogs and they have an actual espresso machine and i like the tiny fountain drink cups. My only complaint are the prices. A large here is 1.50 and it's a medium at the place across the street, also across the street the medium is only 1.07 so this place isn't perfect, but it still is good.”

“The staff here is great. The food is pretty good. The gas station food is pretty good. The prices are average on their gas station sandwiches for a truck stop but much better quality. Both bathrooms are 1 person at a time but there's currently 2 porta johns if needed.”
“A smaller Chevron with fewer pumps, but usually better prices than the other Chevron three blocks to the east. Usually 10-20 cents a gallon cheaper than the other one. This one closes earlier too at 9PM.”

It's clean fast and friendly.
The ladies that work there in the am are very beautiful people inside and out!.
They work so hard to make our gastronomic needs met!.
Give them each a raise and some praise.”
“Stopped here, pouring rain rubber came off the wiper. I asked a tall kid walking across the parking lot if he could help me. He said absolutely, fixed my wiper and inspected the hardware told me what the issue was.I had 20 more miles to drive and happy he could assist me.. His name is Hunter they told me when I went back in for a oil change and air in the tires. Family owned is the best.”

“I go here because Im on night shift, and I feel a little safer because I can go here anytime and know I will be visible and in a well lit area at the gas pumps and parking lot area. The overnight cashier dude is pretty cool too. Their prices are kinda high, but what can you do about it? Not much”

“I've been going to Walgreens Ocean Beach Hwy pharmacy for years now and consistently have a positive experience. They are friendly and caring. My prescriptions are filled promptly. If there is a delay, they communicate with me and do everything possible to help me get my medication in a timely manner. I appreciate them!”
