Half Price Books is a favorite chain bookstore with friendly, considerate, and knowledgeable staff who are helpful and efficient. They currently buy from the public with limited hours and quantity restrictions. They take all books, managing large amounts and recycling unwanted ones, though prices are not the best. The store has a great clearance area where budget-conscious shoppers find treasures. Some find DVDs and Blu-rays a little expensive for used movies. Overall, it offers a loved experience for buying books.
The staff at both local stores are pleasant, professional and always willing to provide assistance locating specific items in-store or offering to locate (with options) the item.

Clean and pretty well organized. Staff was really nice. This was my first time at this location and I really liked it. I'll definitely be returning.

Not much $ for your books but they have more than books... music CDs, records, and cassette tapes.
