“Kathy and Dr. Terry are the two most wonderful people in my dogs life❤️ I cannot recommend them enough! I have referred all my close family and friends to bring their pets here. They are truly understanding, you can always call them for advice if you don’t know if you should bring your pet in. They don’t penny pinch you for unnecessary services. Dr. Terry removed a grass seed from my dogs ear without anesthesia and then gave me money for him remaining so calm! They took care of my friends dog for a full 15 years of life so I made sure they were the ones to take care of my Rusty too once I got a puppy. Thank you all the staff at Animal Surgery & Care Center for the last 6 years, there are not many like caring people like you!”

“We have a very fearful rescue dog, and going to the vet is obviously tough for him. The staff at VCA Alderwood have been absolutely fantastic with him. From the moment we walked in the door, the front staff recognized his situation and put us in an exam room, so that he wouldn't have to wait in the busy lobby. Faith, the technician, was patient, gentle, brought in lick pads with yummy treats and most importantly, was patient in approaching him. Dr. Wood was also fantastic. She took the time to just sit on the floor, give him treats, and patiently let our dog approach her. The entire team was dedicated to making sure this was the best possible experience for our dog. In the end, because of this approach, Dr. Wood was able to give him a full exam and get our dog on the right track for treatment.”

“The atmosphere was friendly from the time we stepped thru the front door to our departure. Reception room smelled good and we waited for only a few minutesAll of the staff seemed sincerely interested, empathetic, helpful.Our big Brando was so at ease with the staff, that while getting his toenails dremelled, he laid down and enjoyed the process.They were all attentive and careful listeners, did not push unnecessary lab work or injections.When I remembered other concerns,it was not an inconvenience to them, but rather a delight which was very nice indeed.5 stars, definitely!”

“I was on maybe my 5th call to another vet clinic to try to get my dog in for surgery for a torn CCL. Although they told me they didn't have a surgeon on staff they recommended me to Jeff Mayo.I called, he answered right away and answered my questions. The next night I emailed after hours and he responded promptly. I booked the consultation and surgery together and he spent a good 45 minutes going over the different options for treatment with me. Because he didn't have a kit for the type of surgery we decided to go with he offered for me to come back next week when he would be at the clinic again. I told him I live 3 hrs away and next week wouldn't work so he offered to come in the next day to the Renton Clinic to do the surgery.... on his day off!Jeff went out of his way to do what was best for my dog and to accommodate me. My dog is almost 3 weeks post surgery and she's already walking pretty well. I highly highly recommend Jeff!”

“I'm so grateful for this animal hospital. I witnessed someone's sweet fur baby get hit by a car and took the kitty straight to this hospital, where I arrived right at closing time. This place didn't waste any time helping the kitty and to find her owners, and I'm very happy with the compassion from this hospital. Thank you for being amazing and taking her in at the last second while you were all just trying to close up and go home for the day.”

“I love this place! The LVT and Practice manager Tami is AMAZING and I love Dr. Pal (Dr. Birpal Buttar). Dr. Pal (Who is also the owner of the clinic) has convinced me I will never take my pets anywhere else by the compassion he's shown towards my pity baby. All the staff have been so great to my Rexaroni! Rex actually is excited when we go to the vet. ???”

“They were able to help my dog with his allergies. Yes it cost money, but now he is living life mostly itch free. Recently he develop a tumor I was so concerned about. I wrote a letter and sent pictures and they were able to get him in sooner. Instead of taking my money and beating around the bush, this clinic gets to the source and to the point. Which is a win in my book. I get results here. They also scored a lot of points for getting me in sooner and for hearing my concern. I can't thank them enough and so pleased. I highly reccomend if your pet is suffering.”

“We were in a situation where we were calling every 24 hour emergency vet line because we thought our dog busted a stitch. The veterinarian that helped us was incredible. She had us send photos of the spot and reassured us immediately. She eased our nerves (which in turn, eased our dog’s nerves), and told us exactly what to do and what to look for. If needed, we will absolutely use their 24 hour vet and if we lived closer this would be our go to. THANK YOU, to the veterinarian that helped us tonight. “We brought Cici (8 yo YoChon F, timid) for her second grooming here. She loved it. Again!! We been here twice and both times we've had a great experience. Mainly, Cici comes out happy to show off, clearly they be been glowing up in the back. I went to a local Bothell groomer recently and paid $120 only to have a dirty and scared dog. Petco is awesome. This Petco has great groomers. They even got us in on Christmas Eve Needless to say, a new Lamby came home too. Like I said. Cici is over the moon and sleeping with her Lamby. She really had fun today. That's the most important. 2nd she's beautiful for Christmas. 3rd. When we were in the store I met the small animal guy and he loved them. He loves them. Finally, I met the on floor and on duty manager. She's maintaining this large store very well. I think, this is a good Petco.”

“An absolutely remarkable clinic! My cat had been displaying symptoms of a severe UTI, and I needed to take him to the vet the same day. Shaun, the receptionist, was exceptionally kind and understanding, and the office was able to accommodate us within 30 minutes of my call. The veterinarian, Sarah, was incredibly patient with my skittish cat and provided informative guidance at every step. After a brief visit and some prompt relief, I couldn't be more thankful for VCA!”
