This used to be a great little pharmacy. Friendly, fast, and most importantly - reliable. Over the past few years it's been in a steady state of decline on all three fronts. Moved my important Rx's to Costco, but left Safeway for random prescriptions. Today was the last straw. A simple Rx was sent over. Called to ensure it was ready and they said 30 mins. Showed up 30 mins later and after waiting 20 mins in line they said it would be another 30 mins.
Done with them.

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because of Tara who works there. She is wonderful and this review is not a reflection of her. I have had so many issues with this pharmacy. From constantly getting hung up on, to being told my prescription is ready, but when I go in it's either not ready, or the medication isn't even in stock. I just called in, heard someone pick up and then hang up. So I called back, same thing. I can hear the store in the background. I get you may be busy, but at least just say so or don't pick up.

Horribly long wait for prescriptions even with a doctor’s phone call. Also, my mom has had bad experiences with whoever answers the phone. She’s been hung up on numerous times and told “there are more important people waiting for prescriptions”. I’m in the process of getting my mom to switch to another pharmacy. Avoid this place.

Perpetually understaffed and missing commitments. Critical prescriptions promised and available a day or more late. I used Safeway from when they opened the pharmacy and it has gone from great to horrible. It is time for me to move. No more broken commitments.

Had to switch to this pharmacy when my old one closed a couple months ago and they have been super disappointing. It seems like they don't bother starting to work on any of my prescriptions until I check on it by calling or stopping by in person. When I do stop by in person, there is zero sense of urgency. I've never had a pharmacy before that was this inefficient and slow. I would not recommend this pharmacy and I will be switching to sonewhere else.

Writing this review to shout out Tammy who helped me and got a problem I thought was truly unsolvable.
Most pharmacies in my opinion forget that they are still in customer service and that working within your means to meet and exceed a customers needs is the foundation that the job demands. I've been in customer service for 8 years and can speak to how important this is personally.
Tammy went above and beyond any person I've ever interacted with at any pharmacy. Staying in contact with me by actually calling me back to keep me in the loop really surprised me and I very much appreciated it.
Most of the time I feel at odds with other pharmacies. The medication I have gets me treated negatively all too frequently but especially lately maple valley Safeway has been my go-to pharmacy the only thing that has me going to other pharmacies is supply chain issues.
Other pharmacies/pharmacists can be like Tammy. REWARD this work ethic I beg you. incentivize and promote the customer service aspect of this service and make it the norm and everyone will be so much happier. I repeat. BE LIKE TAMMY.

This place has become a huge mess. Nothing is ever ready, lines are ridiculously long, and only two competent people in the place. An rx called in should easily be ready in 24 hours. They are just always so behind.

Would give 0 stars. I ended up switching to the Walgreens across the street. The staff is so unbothered and lazy. I will submit a refill on the app and it only gets fill if I call in to check on it? So whats the point of the app...?

While sometimes the line can be a little long sometimes, I think the people that work here are consistently wonderful. They're always so nice and have accommodated urgent Rxs for me.

The pharmacy workers have a hard time keeping up with demand given their level of staff so there is typically a line. Sometimes a long one. And the weight to get your prescription filled can take 30 to 45 minutes. I recommend in those cases going to the pharmacy first and then shop a little bit until your meds are ready

They're so slow. I've never seen staff walk so slowly or press buttons on a keyboard so slowly. They obviously hate their job.

The worst pharmacy. Don’t waste your time if your prescription is urgent. Very rude staff that won’t even check on Prescriptions, even after I confirmed with my provider that it’s been sent to them. I wish there was a 0 star because that’s what they deserve.
