Safeway Pharmacy, located at 26916 Maple Valley Rd in Maple Valley, WA, offers a knowledgeable and professional pharmacy staff ready to help with all your pharmaceutical needs. They provide a variety of services including flu vaccinations, shingles shots, and back-to-school vaccines. Customers can schedule appointments or walk-in for their shots. The pharmacy also accepts most forms of insurance and provides safe drug disposal services.
While the pharmacy can sometimes get busy with long lines, customers generally find the staff to be consistently wonderful, nice, and accommodating, even for urgent prescriptions. The wait time to get prescriptions filled can take 30-45 minutes, but the staff works hard to keep up with the high demand. Many customers appreciate the convenience of checking the app to see when their medication will be ready, including auto-refills which are often ready a day or two early.
The pharmacy has recently hired some new staff who are not as experienced or passionate as the long-time employees, but overall the Safeway Pharmacy team receives high praise for their efficiency, knowledge, and willingness to verify information and ensure customers get the right medications. Customers who have moved away still wish they could return to this "probably one of the best pharmacy" they've ever used.
I go to this pharmacy a lot. 3 kids and a cat that need their various medicines. They’re kind and easy to work with. They work absurd hours and have to deal with crabby people having a bad time. The people leaving mean and nasty reviews have probably never had a customer service job.

Very busy pharmacy but the staff are great. This zip code has a lot of angry entitled people in it unfortunately. Because of this the people you wait in line with may be annoying/grumpy.

Always helpful, and of course they get behind due to the volume of people they deal with. They do the best they possibly can, so so all you impatient holier than thou people complaining need to chill out and have a salad..
