True Value Hardware is a local hardware store for building materials, tools, lawn and garden supplies, and more. It is a tiny store and the only hardware store on the island, which can make it a godsend. It is a small hardware store that has a little of everything. Most tools are not professional or commercial grade, but the staff is very friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. The customer service is top-notch, fast, and caring, with excellent one-on-one help. The store has good quality products at reasonable prices, an excellent location, and lots of free easy parking.

Refreshing to find a hardware store with such helpful and friendly staff. I had only taken two steps in the door before I was asked if I needed assistance. Collin took the time to help me find the exact screws and washers I needed for my project. Such a quick and easy trip in and out.

The staff is always so helpful. The manager lady is great. There’s a cute dog as well. I feel lucky for such a convenient island hardware store. They stock Benjamin Moore which as a career painter I can say is my preferred option, so lucky there too.
