“What an amazing little spot! We stumbled upon this place by accident, and it was such a cool store. I was stunned at how great all of the items inside were. I went in looking for a purse, and there were several brand name options. I also found this super cool rocking horse. It was in pristine condition. I highly recommend this spot. Great thrift items and supporting a great cause.”
“One of the few thrift stores that has furniture so that's what drew me in. They didn't have much of that but they had SO MUCH at this store! It's huge! It's loaded with items at excellent prices! Items are priced like a thrift store, not a discount store which is ideal. Lots of people but not crowded since it's so big. Has dressing rooms. The book section is enormous! You may want to go here first since I feel their prices are the best of the thrift stores I have visited.”

“I go here to for my housing resources to meet my case worker. They keep very good communication with me. They make me feel very welcome in the auss. Maybe we feel like they really would love to help me. They're reaching out to me constantly. Reminding me of my appointments and they go over the board as. Nonprofit organization”
“Person who was taking donations was fairly nice. Asked that we unload our stuff on to the loading dock, which was fine. Then went and got a dolly for our little stuff. Took a newer screen door to them and they were happy to take it. I try to donate “previously enjoyed” house items because I know they have a store. I have even purchased items from the store, like doors and such. Great place to go if you are on a budget.”

“Truth ministries helped me thru one of the darkest times of my life. I lost everything i owned, my fiance, and was trying to drink myself to death but they welcomed me with love and patience no matter how bad off i was. I plan on going back to spokane in 3 months and will definitely stay here again if they will have me :) i am a different man now”

“I have rated this store before so this is kind of an update. I believe the prices, mostly, are pretty decent. I just bought a $150 bongo drum like new for $24.
However, I noticed from other reviews how clean the bathrooms are. That used to be true but That is not the case anymore. There are no customer bathrooms and they won't allow you to use one, period.”

“The staff at the front desk & check in are always friendly & helpful. The parking lot tends to fill up and so parking can be hard at times. The lifeguards tend to be fairly young and don’t seem to be too serious about their job. Today I saw one rush past a man with a walker headed to the family bathroom doors to the pool and the lifeguard didn’t even hold the door for him. Pretty rude manners or lack there of.”

“As a mother, trusting anyone with your children is a big deal. But trusting them with your children during hard seasons is everything. My boys have never really been anywhere without me before, and Vanessa Behan was the very first place where they felt safe enough to play/stay when they weren’t with their mom.
That alone speaks volumes.
The staff are extraordinary. They are patient, kind, attentive, and genuinely loving with my boys. So much so my boys ask me often to go to the green place to play. Every time we come in, they listen to me, respect my voice as a parent, and treat my children with dignity and care. I never feel rushed, judged, or dismissed. Only supported.
Because of the consistency and compassion of the staff, I am able to leave my boys knowing they are safe, comforted, and cared for. That peace of mind is priceless. What Vanessa Behan has done for our family has helped us exponentially, and I will forever be grateful for the role they’ve played in our lives.
This place is more than a resource, it’s a refuge. And for families walking through difficult moments, it is truly a gift.”
“The Red Cross is amazing. They are there to serve and help everyone without prejudice. There is no political or religious affiliation. They rely on donations alone. I'm so impressed with their outreach for anyone in need due to disasters that displace people. They accommodate every scenario: people with disabilities, people with pets, people with medical needs, emotional support and health needs. They provide food, shelter and resources to help people get back on their feet. A worthy cause to support.”
